Gard N Angel Child Care

I like the location and that it is a stone throw away from a local elementry school. My daughter (and our family) LOVE her room 4 teacher Miss Kim!!! I cannot say enough about her..she will "donate" her daughters gently used clothing to are family. I cannot thank her enough! I like that it is set up more like a school..it helps prep more for 5K.. I do not care for the room 3 teacher Miss Cheryl. My little one is in her class now and my older child had her last year. My husband drops and picks up our children. We feel like she goes out of her way to make him feel like a bad parent.. Funny...she is very nice to me when I drop off the girls...I think she passes judgement on both the children and the parents by apperance. Sad....eh!?! She really does a good job at making you feel like crap for putting your children in daycare. I also Loved Miss Paula the room 2 teacher..both my girls did too! So in short... I truly do like this daycare.. one bad egg shouldn't spoil the whole carton...but this is a really "bad egg." more

The only outside play area that this day care has is a small, black top gated off section of a parking lot. Some of the staff members barely spoke English. In a 6 month time period, 5 teachers quit or was fired. The bathrooms are at the end of a hallway, making it difficult to potty train. TVs are quite often used as "rewards" (especially at the end of the day after the rooms are cleaned). My son came home with a bite mark and no one seemed to know how he got it. Gard-n-Angel is inexpensive compared to other daycares and preschools. It is also located in a school making it convenient for parents going to that school. However, quality and keeping staff was a big problem with this place when we went there. I'd move and quit my job before sending my kids to this place again. more

5 Stars doesn't give this establishment enough credit. The hours are great and the teachers are superior. This is the first place that I have actually loved taking my daughter to! The children are kept busy learning and interacting with eachother all day. They also provide before and after shool care, and are located close to all area schools.
