Really easy company to work with. Had to wait about 1 week for initial appointment, despite requests to move faster. Met with Paul. Smart designer - great software. Went ahead with a starter+ system. Installed 2.5 weeks later. Crew was on time and worked efficiently.System works as advertised. Good quality parts & very professionally installed. Room looks neat and clean and the storage bits are all easily rearranged. No BS in the sales process. No BS in the install. Nice to have that project completed. Install crew leader was Philipe. Good guy. Only complain is the price is not cheap. I got 5 bids (excessive, I know) and they were the middle priced option. I think you get what you pay for and the value is clearly there. My brother in law is a home appraiser and he said that GarageTek is a know "value adder" to a home at sale time. True or otherwise, we are happy. Highly recommended. more

Been thinking of getting garagetek for years. Finally bit the bullet. OMG. We just went from an ugly mess to storage heaven. When you have them panel the walls they look great - and then all of the storage parts clip to the wall. The quality is quite good - not too fancy -- just well done. So glad we finally did it - shouldn't have waited so long. Company was very buttoned up. No silly BS - they just did what they said they would and acted like Pros as they did it. more

We are the perfect before and after garage. Before was Nasty. Clutter. Mess. And no space for cars. After is clean and neat. Tidy. A place for everything. Including both cars. We are very pleased with the results. They did everything they said they would do (and more). On time. On budget. +1 more

These folks made it easy. My garage was a disaster and now its clean and well organized. Their design guy knew just what we needed. He didn't push - he just showed us the choices and made suggestions. Very professional approach. Install crew was fast, clean and efficient. We are pleased with garageTek and highly recommend them. We don't have other storage space in the house so the garage needs to be really smart & efficient. Ken, our designer, made the design process quite easy and streamlined. Our garage looks great and works beautifully. And, it's neat and clean and safe. And beautiful! Love it! more

Our garage was awful. a 2 car space with barely room for a single small car. We finally did get the Garagetek system installed and now the room holds everything. We have a large SUV and a smaller car. Plus 4 bikes, 4 golf bags, lots of balls,bats and sticks, some hockey gear, more gardening stuff than I ever thought a person could ever want - plus about 20 large storage containers filled with holiday décor. Hard to believe that it not only all fits - including a new butcher block workbench -- but it also looks good. Good is probably an understatement. It looks great. It never occurred to me that I would be proud of my garage - but I actually am. These folks are honest and straightforward. No BS. Just a great product that was beautifully installed. We are very satisfied. My only issue is cost. I wish it costs less. I did shop around fairly extensively and I learned that you get what you pay for - but only up to a point - after which additional $ don't add benefits - they just seem "fancy" for no good reason. The less expensive options are not comparable in looks, quality, capacity, etc. The garage systems that cost more than garagetek seemed like a waste of money. For us GarageTek was the happy medium. Wish we did it 5 years ago - but glad we have it now. more

I never thought that my kids would see the day when both of our cars were parked in the garage -- AND there is room to walk comfortably around the and into the house. I guess I was wrong because that day has come. We have thought of having a garage system installed for years. We finally agreed this was the time to do it. We explored the options out there and knew we wanted a modular system so we could have flexibility to change the design as the kids get older. So now we have neat, clean storage for bikes and balls and bats - but we know that LAX, hockey, tennis and golf are coming soon (to a garage near us). Looking at our options it was an easy decision to go with GarageTek, since they have tons of options (huge flexibility) and their system is good looking and good quality. The local dealer has a very strong reputation for being honest, ethical and technically very strong - and that matters to us. Plus its an American made system and we always prefer that. We tend to do our homework, so their Angie's List reviews were important to us. They clearly have a great reputation earned over a long time - unlike some others. Now that our garage system is installed its easy to see why they have that kind of reputation. Our garage is really a totally different space than it was before - both the looks and the storage functionality. Its no longer an ugly duckling to hide from. In fact the neighbors have all come over to check it out and we were happy to show it off. Although we set out to do a 2 wall system and a floor, we ultimately decided to wait on the flooring and upgrade to doing all 3 walls. The extra wall storage gives us more flexibility and the flooring can wait until next year. Also, the flooring is not cheap - but we have already learned our lesson about Home Depot painted floors and the nightmare of the peeling and chipping. So our overall system was about $9 grand and change and the result is a very happy family that is is finally clutter free and parking indoors every night. more

My wife I taked about getting a great garage for years. We finally did it. We hired GarageTek for they job -- and we are very pleased. They covered the walls with their white panle (no maintenance material!) Then we choose a combination of cabinets , shelves, hooks, brackets, baskes and racks -- all of which attach to the wall panel. This is key, as now our garage floor is pretty empty and all the clutter is gone! Our kids (and our stupid mutt) cant get to the dangerous stuff any longer as its high on the wall and out of their reach. Now we can get both cars in the garage too -- even the big SUV fits. The install was pretty easy. We met with a designer named Pam and she created a plan on the CAD software system. We tweaked it a bit until it looked about right. Then they came back 2 weeks later and installed the system in 2 days. Everyone showed up just when they said they would and (bonus!) they all speak english (so do we!) Once the system was installed we tweaked it a bit more. This easy since it is all modular and the storage bits can be swaped and exchanged readily. Now it looks they way we wanted and we have storage space for all of our stuff. Also, they use high qualithy materials like PVC and other special advanced plastics we dont have worry about rust or warping or rot. Total cost for our regular sized 2 car garage was just under $10k, but we plan to add the flooring in the spring to complete the room and really have the whole enchilada. So the cost is not cheap, but it was about half of what we spent on remodeling our smallest bathroom -- and it gets the cars off the street so we can finally use the 400 square feet of garage that we paid for when we built the house. My brother in law is an appraiser and he receommeded Garagetek because he said these systems pay their own way at resale time. We are very pleased with thie system. more

We just had the GarageTek system installed at our house (McLean VA). Wow! Wish we had done this when we first moved in about 3 years ago. Now the garage looks great and we have the modular storage we always needed. Even the kids have aplace for all of their stuff. Plus we can fit both cars into the garage for the 1st time ever. The system we choose covered the 3 walls witht he beautiful white panel - so now the space looks CLEAN and finished and not the ugly dumpy way it did before. We have 6 big cabinets, some shelves and racks and the bikes on the walls. We also splurged for the tile flooring in a cool pattern that they designed for us. The cost of the whole thing was about $11,600 the way they installed it. The crew was fantastic -- neat clean and very professional (and they spoke english so we could talk to them - bonus!). They started here on Monday moring and by Tuesday at 1pm it was complete. Our designer was Ken and he was pleasant, quick and very bottoned up. Of all the projects we have done to make the house nicer to live in and more valuable when we sell it this is probably the best bang for the buck. We are very pleased to have our new garagetek system. more
