Great guy - I'm glad that I called him.
One of my two doors was sticking, and I had cranked up the force so that it would open. Since the motor was grunting n groaning to open, I thought that I should have someone take a look at it, so I called this garage door company He quoted me a service call price over the phone and came out the next Monday. As soon as he arrived, we spotted the broken spring/ I asked him to check the other door as well, and that door had two broken springs. I was bracing for a huge bill - service call and three broken springs - yikes! But Steven was very fair He provided me with a very nice reduction in the labor and a very fair price - I was surprised that it wasn't substantially more.
He did a great job, oiled up everything, adjusted both doors, and motors. He even checked every screw on the door to be sure that they were all tight. Before he left, he showed me how to maintain the springs and wheels, and said if I had any problems at all, that he would come back out and resolve it for no charge.
He called about 30 minutes before the scheduled time to give me an update and a heads up when he would arrive.
One note, he is a one-person shop and I see that at least one reviewer was perturbed that no one answered the office phone. Well, he works on his own and does his own service calls - makes answering the phone a little hard. I did not have a problem reaching him, and I am glad that I do not have to pay for a admin or answering service - just the actual repair.
