Top-notch ALL THE WAY! We reside in the Cinco Ranch area of Katy Tx. We called Garage Door Doctor about 6:30am on a Saturday. Left a message, Vincent called back in 10 minutes, took an educated guess as to what was wrong (later proved to be 100% correct!) and gave us a time range that he was he was coming. Vincent was very professional, knowledgeable and honest. Up front about the cost of everything and gave us some discounts due to numerous repairs we needed. He went above and beyond for our repair. We had a broken spring but, instead of just fixing that, he replaced some old rollers, put a reinforcement strut on the door and found a defective part in the opener and (of course) had the parts right there to fix that. He even lubed the chain on our opener. I will recommend Vincent and the Garage Door Doctor to everybody. more

We got these guys to swap our garage door opener not too long ago, and it was a excellent experience.Therefore when our garage door decided to break the other day, We called Garage Door Doctor first - and I was not disappointed. I have used this company for years. I have several rent homes and I always call these guys for every problem. Of all the service companies I use on a regular basis, this is by far my favorite. He always gives me a 2 to 3 hour time slot and someone always shows up in that time. I love that they are always honest. They show me what is wrong and the show me the best way to fix it. I have used the Garage Door Doctor on two occassions. This company ROCKS. Vince is always prompt, arrives exactly when he tells you he will. He is very professional and his rates are reasonable. I had a problem with my garage door. It was really hard to open.I called the Garage Door Doctor and talked with Vincent and he explained me what the problem could be. Very good service. I was told between 12-2pm they got there right on time. I thought I was going to need a whole new door but they were able to fix it. It's never sounded so good. I refer them to everyone. Their prices were more than fair. more

These guys were great. Called to schedule an appointment thinking it would be a couple of days later. He said they could come out the same day. He told me sometime between 11-2. They were on time and made the repairs, my springs were broken and I didn't know so I ended up breaking my opener. I thought they were going to sell me a new door and opener but they were great. They explained to me that they could replace the garage door springs and instead of replacing the opener they could replace the gear kit on the opener. I called this company based on the recommendation of a good neighbor. I set an appt for 3:00 on Friday. I left work to meet the installer. When he had not arrived by 3:15, I called the company. No one answered, so I left a message. A man - who must have been the owner of this company - called back. He said that my appt was for 3-5, and he'd be at my house sometime before 5. I explained to him that I had made the appt for three, and the scheduler didn't mention a window. And that we'd have to forget about doing it today because I had to go back to work. He interrupted me (rudely and harshly) in mid-sentence to tell me I was wrong, and then hung-up on me. I called back, and he called me a ""liar"" and hung-up again (apparently I was a ""liar"" because my understanding was that my appt was for 3). I would have been fine rescheduling the appointment, but not after this really poor, very rude treatment. He was angy, ugly, tempermental, and name-calling with absolutely no provocation. I hope he was only having a bad day and is not normally so ugly to people. I would not recommend this company. more
