Good: Well, the staff was kind.. Bad: You are rushed through. Had dr freeze a new spot off of me even though I am a melanoma patient. I was told, "if it comes back we will send it off". If it comes back it may be too late. The first visit was great, the second and third, not so much.. Improvements: They need to know the patients history. In the least look at the chart for 2 minutes before going in. Do not patronize the patient as if they do not know anything about their own health. Review billing before it goes to the patient.. Other: Maybe I just got a bad seed. Maybe some of the other dr's here are great. I now see Dr. Skidmore who is wonderful. He/his staff take my call seriously and fit me in. He is gentle, kind and takes his time with you. You are not rushed through there like cattle as in other places.. more

I was referred to Gainesville Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center by another doctor. The wait time for the appointment was several weeks. This was not a problem for me as I was in no hurry anyway. I specifically requested an appointment with Anthony Aulisio, M.D., as that is who was recommended. They have several doctors on staff so not being specific could lessen the wait time for an appointment. The facility was beautiful, located out on Tower Road near Home Depot. The Doctor did a very good job and had a terrific bedside manner. If I ever needed a dermatologist for myself again, I would return to this facility. more
