I am very suspicious of the amount of 5 star ratings for this dentist, just as a different site reviewer stated. I did see on an older Google review of ""Cherry Hill Dental, Columbia, MO Reviews"" that someone mentioned that this office subscribes to Demand Force which will scrub bad reviews and perhaps can help you pad in good ones. I tried several times to post a one star review but it was always removed. However, when I posted a test 5 star one it still remains!
I sought out their services for Invisilign and saw nothing but glowing reports on Google reviews. I was told it would take 6 mths to fix my issues and as of April of this year it will have been 2 yrs & we’re still not finished, even though as of this month I’m paid in full, b/c I’ve been on their payment plan. This included $500 worth of retainers for which there is still no impression able to be made. I've only seen Dr. Gadbois during this entire time just for him to file spaces in between my teeth. I had a gut feeling he was making too many & too wide, but upon expressing my concern I was assured they would close. I’m finished with all appliances & still have an ugly space between my front upper teeth when, prior to this my upper teeth were “perfect” according to most people. Unsuccessful attempts to close the space involved several extra trips to the office, an aligner that is huge & which they made themselves, & more appliances from Invisalign which didn't fit because they didn't take impressions prior to ordering; they eye-balled & took a picture. I have been patient about their “trial and error” process coming into their office numerous additional times than what protocol would have called for. I suggested that they need to resolve this on their own dime as I live 8 1/2 hours away, one way trip. It costs me a great deal in gas money, wear/tear on the car, time away from work for my husband & exhausting trips back home. It was my choice to move away 5 mths into the process, but I should have only had to make a couple of trips at most from where we were in the treatment based on what they said how long it would take. I still have made over 1.5 yrs of visits. I’m just asking that they pay for this impression as I have made 3 extra trips there trying to get their error fixed. I understand teeth don’t always move as expected and have already been coming back several extra times for a second set of appliances. But this is in addition even to that.
I will be filing a formal complaint with the proper authorities whichever that may be: MO Dental Board, MO Dental Assoc., MO Attorney General’s office, for which I feel badly about but they brought this on themselves as I tried to give them opportunities to make this right and administer the proper care for which I have paid.
