Movie Star Treatment 3/15/2012

If you want to have the full attention of a runway stylist who also happens to be very talented and pleasant, then I suggest you book an appointment with Gabriel. My hair is mid length, fine and needs a precise cut in order to keep it at this length. He added movement, shine and lots of body. It looks fabulous, never better and I have tried lots of CT hair stylists. As a bonus, Gabriels salon is absolutely serene, beautiful and upscale. Prices are very reasonable too. You will be pleasantly surprised!? more

The TRUE Master Stylist 2/6/2012

Needed to find a fabulous hairdresser I went to Gabriel and he was great. He listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and then gave me an amazing haircut! I was extremely pleased that all the terrific reviews I had read about him were ALL TRUE!! He really is experienced at what he does, and it shows. I will definitely go back to him more

Great Experience 1/23/2012

Since I moved to Greenwich from New York, 5 years ago, I have been searching for a Salon that can give me A consistently good hair cut and quality experience. A good friend told me about Gabriel, that she had gone to him for years and he was opening a Salon. I went to this fine establishment and came to find that I had finally arrived. Since that time, I have seen the endeavor grow in two years 100%, and Gabriel has stayed loyal to his clientele new and old, because he knows that is what has gotten this enterprise the prominence that it has today. more

Beyond your expectation 12/28/2011

It took me about a year to get up the courage to break up with my stylist from another salon - only wish I'd done it sooner! Love this place! Great atmosphere, I've had two haircuts with Gabriel and can't imagine going anywhere else at this point! His work is top-notch - lots of attention to detail. I feel completely comfortable giving him free reign to work his magic (and I am not someone who likes to give up control). He just knows what looks good! more

So Gabriel Shimunov Salon is where I will get my haircut done from now on. It was a great experience and an awesome first time. I really wanted to cut my hair really short and I was so sick of my long hair that I just decided to go anywhere. I found Gabriel Shimunov online and it had got really good reviews, it was open late, it was very affordable. I couldn't go wrong. I got my hair done by GABRIEL.. He was great, friendly, funny, and knew exactly what I wanted. My haircut came out awesome. He completely boosted up my selfisteam and I felt really good about myself. All I get now are great compliments about my ""new do"". Thanks GABRIEL!!!))) more

Best hair salon - ever! 11/3/2011

This is not the first time Gabriel cut my hair and the only fact that I keep coming back (I am notorious for hating having my hair cut) speaks volumes. Actually, with Gabriel, I started liking it, even more, loving it! It's a one-on-one experience, so you don't feel that the question of your beauty is taken lightly - you DO feel very special. Last time I went, Gabriel cut my long hair (I've lived last twenty years with long hair!) into a really cute bob - classic, timeless, easy to maintain, perfect! Even my family, who were all anti-short-hair, are totally smitten with a cut and love it! more

Gabriel is amazing 10/27/2011

I moved to Greenwich about 3 wks ago, and Gabriel Shimunov Salon is the first place I got my hair done. I have a lot of hair and Gabriel did a great job cutting it. Really good prices and you can just email for appointment! I highly suggest going, and definitely see Gabriel, it's worth it! more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair!! I was referred to Gabriel by a friend...and I am so happy I went. Having never met me, or seen how I wear my hair, Gabriel listened to me...and I left with the best haircut! Not only was the blow-dry perfect, it was easy to do at home too! Just had a Brazilian blow-out with Gabriel and I am sooooo happy! My hair has never looked better! Love the personal one-on-one at the salon. Love the ease of getting an appointment via email! What can I say...I love Gabriel! more
