A great factor about this business is that they didn't down talk their competitors in which you see all the time in business, they allowed their loyal customers that not only refer their family, but their friends too. I think that speaks very highly of them.\r more

Just had a reminder of what great customer service is: 1. They do as you say! Give you great advice. 2. Finish your car on time 3. Service with a smile, and a great attitude. Thanks for installing my new stereo. Not only were they the best price around, they were ready, started working on my car, and had it done on time. Best place to get your stereo installed; rims, tires, window tinting as well. more

DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL ELECTRONICS CORRECTLY. DON'T USE THIS SHOP! 10/7/2010

They are a bunch of idiots that don't know what they are doing. They put a power antennae in my father's car and proceeded to short out the crankshaft sensor in the car. They did not disconnect the battery when they were underneath the car probing around and shorted out the sensor. They warranty their work. Well, they need to warranty this nice repair bill. All over someone who could not disconnect a battery while he was working with wires to connect the antennae. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. If you want any electronics in your car, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. more

I absolutley love these guys.me and my man have been dealing with them for many many years.They have hooked up beat in every single car we have ever owned and all of their employees are very knowledgable about what they are doing and know exactly how to do it..B is the s*%$ and his father is awesome he would give the shirt off of his back if u asked him to...we have never ever had n e real problems just a couple of minor adjustments...GM you guys go..we love u guys.keep on"HOOKIN UP THE BAY"... more

They have good prices. As far as their customer service goes, its horrible. I would suggest you get your sh*t installed somewhere else if you cant trust them, that or do some research and complete the damn project your self. But overall its worth it since the prices speak for themselves. more

GM Electronics nightmare~! 3/26/2010

I agree with all the bad reviews GM Electronics sucks. They give you the run around and false information. A bunch of shady hustlers. I brought my girlfriends car in to put a in dash navigation in and told them i needed ipod hook up and bluetooth with it. They gave me a good quote and i specifically asked is there anything eles i needed..The old man said no no once installed eveything will work just turn on your bluetooth from your phone. I come back to pick up the car drive off get home notinh works bluetooth and Ipod. I go back down and say whats going on then one of the sons say o by the way you need to buy the bluetooth set up and the ipod cable..im frustrated so i say ok just install it. so i come back the next day and the installer who did the car is not there. So i come back again then theres a problem with hooking up the bluetooth to the iphone a few hours pass and im getting frustrated the installer is just moping around not knowing what to do so he gives up and just walks awa more

BEWARE!!!! These installers are not professionals... 2/7/2010

GM is Garbage... I dont Think That there is a single employee in that establishment that knows car audio. I had a system installed there in my 68 malibu elcamino several years ago and there was nothing but problems... The Garbage Hitron amp that they sold me blew within a day of the purchase because the installer wired the garbage audiobahn subs that they sold me to a 1 ohm load on the amp... On top of this they put the subs in an under the seat chevy box which had not even half the amount of airspace that the subs required so they sounded like crap. And the worst part of all without even telling me the installer screwed the box under the backwindow behind the seats with 4 1/2" wood screws that went threw the body of the elcamino into the bed... and this is a car that has no holes or rust in it what so ever. so I called the next day and tried to get a refund and the guy was trying to blame the amp blowing on the head unit, basically just trying to get me to spend more money. Poorly run establishment - BEWARE THEY ARE SHYSTERS!!!! 1/27/2010

This place is run by a bunch of thugs. I needed some parts to install a navigation unit in my car. So, I called them and they said they had the parts in stock. I went to the place to pick up the parts. The sales guy seemed ok. During the transaction he mentioned that they can install the navigation unit in my car for 60.00 including parts. I said cool and made an appointment to come in on Tuesday. I called Monday to confirm the appointment and they said it was all good. So, I arrived on Tuesday after a 17 mile ride in traffic. \r \r I get there and said I had an appointment. No one looked in any book or schedule and they acted like they never knew of the appointment. The one thing I noticed about them at the beginning was they were talking smack to people and seemed emotionally detached. The guy too my keys and asked me where the car was. I told him and he looked at it. He then said, "you'll need a dash kit, harness and antenna kit". He then said, "it will cost you 160.00". I then infor more

Well I was calm but upset. I told the owner I had driven a long ways to get this done and he acted as if he could care less. He then kept saying, ""get the kit where you bought the stereo from"". Then said, ""go somewhere else dude"".\r \r He was rude and had a messed up attitude. No one should have to deal with rude shysters like this.\r \r If I could give a place negative stars I would. horrible service 7/18/2009

they have a bunch of kids installing these systems. i got my system installed by them just for the hell of it. from the beginning i was treated like a garbage. they didn't have most of the answers to the questions i asked them that any person with a MECP certificate would know. dont get me wrong it sounds good but that's because its a good system that they didn't make. my advice is to not go to these cheap garages and go to real men that are professionals that do great work that make you feel welcome. Excellent knowledge and a great value! 4/17/2009

Hey folks...I'm the cheapest and pickiest consumer alive. I drove my 99 BMW 740I there asking for advice on how to improve the stereo upgrade that I had installed, and got excellent service with extreme patience from Jeremiah. I had been told by numerous ""experts"" that what GM Electronics accomplished could not be done. Not only did they get the job done, but with an immediate install and way competitive price that produced killer results. Again, I'm usually the last guy to part with my cash happily, but I felt like I got a wonderful value here, very good service, and absolute killer stereo sound as a result. GM Electronics knows their stuff! UPDATE: 12/10/10 I don't get the negative reviews from others. I just purchased my second system for another car, and once again the price was the best on the market, the service was excellent, install perfect, and the end result the best value I could find. For my money I highly recommend G M Pros: Wide variety of products in stock, quick installation. Cons: None that I experienced more

i agree with the other review. they suck. they tell you all these things then when you come back they act like they don't know you. they are very arrogant. I shopped around and found Whole Sale Car Audio in Pittsburg instead. they are cheaper then GM electronics and they have great customer service. and they have a room that you can hear how the speakers sound. its pretty cool. I'd recommend that place then GM. but either way shop around and pretend like you don't know much that way you know if they are ripping you off or not. more
