I was referred to Geis for their reputation. Unfortunately I did not experience anything positive with this company! It started with purchasing a new garage door. My door arrived in about a week, which was great. We setup an appointment to install it; they came out and did the installation. Never explained anything or asked if we had concerns. They did however mention the door was poorly constructed and nothing lined up on the door. I call the company and they said they would call the manufacture. We had decided to replace the door with a new one. However, I had to call Geis three separate times to find out the estimated date of delivery; they never kept me informed. The new door came in and it was installed, not perfect but much nicer than the first. I called Geis with my credit card to pay the outstanding balance. Over a week later I was online looking at my bank statement and to my SURPRISE, Geis had charged my credit card with an additional $500. I called them immediately to discuss the situation. I spoke with a female, who was rather rude and extremely unprofessional. She said it was a honest human mistake and then turned around and said, ""you mean to tell me you never made a mistake! I have been here for 20 years!"" in a rather snobbish tone. Fortunately this had nothing to do with my mistakes, BUT everything to DO with THEIR MISTAKES!!!! I could have dealt with the poor quality door and having it fixed, I could have dealt with my credit card being charged $500 with out my consent, but I can NOT deal with someone being RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I was simply making them aware that there was a problem and I wanted someone to look into it and resolve it, not yell at me on the phone, insult me and questions my morals or personal situations. Never would recommend this company to a potential costumer.
