G & G Mechanical

I own a condo in the Braemore between Kenmore Sq and Back Bay. My tenants called me to let me know the A/C unit stopped working and it was leaking slowly onto the dropped ceiling tiles. I contacted G &G Mechanical and gave them the tenants contact info, so they could schedule repair appointments directly. G&G was quick to respond, but the first tech they sent was apparently too big to get behind the A/C unit, and he couldn't resolve the issue. I complained to the general email address, posted on their website, and in no time one of the owners personally responded. Within days, a new (smaller) tech was able to find the root cause, implement a solution for the leak, and resolve the problem. The tech was even willing to come in on a weekend to follow-up on the solution. I commend G&G's management for seeing this issue through, and I will have no hesitation contacting them again for future HVAC problems. more

Never see such poor service with the low quality technician, not professional at all. Don't use them. more

Very sad that G&G has shown soo little attention to customer service! The lack of integrity as shown through their staff was enough for me to cancel a 5,000$ job. Cons: Lacking customer service more

Installed an AC system in my house. The install took about twice as long as estimated and also had many small defects, which they just essentialy said was ""tough luck"" since the job was taking longer than anticipated. Additionally, there is something wrong with the compressor at the beginning of each summer when I turn on the AC it is our of coolant and needs to be serviced. When I called this year to get the service done I was given a day and time for the service and then told that afternoon that they woudl have to ""re-schedule to sometime next week"" Poor service end-to-end.
