Editorial review from Citysearch 9/10/2012

My wife was looking forward to ordering a dessert from here with the pizza for the kids so I went in to get a to-go menu to bring to her as she is handicapped and wanted to wait in the car but was informed by the manager that they were out of to-go menus. I asked if I could borrow a regular menu to take out to my car real quick and bring it right back with my order and she refused. The regular menus are not that fancy either. So the manager was incompetent to let the to-go menus run out and couldn't be bothered to even print off more and then refused to make her mistake right by letting a customer borrow one for a couple of minutes and then on top of it basically called me a thief. I will never eat at a Fuzzy's Pizza again. We went up the street to Westgreen just north of I-10 and found another pizza place where the service was VERY friendly and the pizza was outstanding. It was more expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for, if you're lucky! more

Just like the Fuzzy's I remember. 8/3/2011

Alrighty, for a while fuzzys wasn't at it's best. Things weren't like they were before and everything. But now, fuzzy's is like it was before. Everything is clean, the pizza is good. I can see the wine and the deserts fuzzys has to offer. Believe me, when you go you won't be disappointed. The specials are gone. Which are fine by me. To tell you the truth, if you want a good pizza go to fuzzys. Don't go and start bragging and complaining about the prices. I agree it is expensive, but it is worth every single penny in my wallet. more

Best in Katy is an undersale!!! 7/26/2011

Before I knew about Fuzzy's, I ate all the other pizzas, Papa Johns, dominos, Pizza Hut, and don't get me wrong I loved them all, but since the first time i tried Fuzzy's many years ago I have not stopped ordering from them and eating at their restaurant. From my experiences, only a competitor of this establishment could have something bad to say about this amazing restaurant . Their Pizza's are delicious and worth the few extra bucks and the staff is polite and helpful. I have and will recommend this place to everyone I know and meet. more

The Pizza Place from paradise. 6/10/2011

The pizza's are impeccable. I am speechless. The pizza's were made by ARTISANS. Words can't describe the pizza's. I was amazed by the customer service and the cleanliness of the place. I have been to a lot of restaurants. And believe me when I say alot I mean a lot. This resturant amused me by its cleanliness. I go every other day to this resturant and I have never had an incident about cleanliness or the quality of the pizza. Do you all realize that if this resturant had bad pizza's or wasn't clean, it wouldn't have served Katy for over 15 years?! Even though the pizza's are a tad pricey, the pizza is worth it. more

Not What I Expected! 6/9/2011

Fuzzy's disappointed me after reading all of the great reviews, maybe I expected too much. The restaurant wasn't clean, they had food and dirty napkins on the floor around the buffet area and no one seemed to care...which makes you wonder what goes on in the areas you can't see if they feel this is acceptable. Also, one of the heating areas on the buffet wasn't being used and rather than cover up the spot, they left it open so you could see the dirty/moldy water underneath the pans. I will say that the pizza tastes good but judging by the lack of cleanliness at this place, who knows whats in it. I know times are hard for a lot of places and they probably don't have the money to completely renovate the place (which it could use); however, they do have the means to keep it clean so people feel comfortable eating there. Every employee who can't pick up dirty napkins and food off the floor should be fired! more

Now I know why it was ""Voted Best Pizza"" in Katy!!!! 5/18/2011

Quality-wise...this is by far the BEST TASTING PIZZA!!!! From the cheese...right down to the high quality meats, their pizza's are hands down...the BEST! Let me give you one BIG TIP when ordering one. They do seem to sometimes under cook them. The SECRET to having an outstanding pizza here, is to just ask them to cook it well done. The cheese turns a bit brown and it TOTALLY changes the flavor up 10 notches. I order it extra well done...and it's perfect!! every time!!, I'm having a Fuzzy's Flashback just writing about it! :). And having one delivered tonight! Plus, they also have the BEST Greek salads, and on Wednesdays they have buy one all you can eat, get one free! Find a Friend and have a feast at Fuzzy's!!!!!!!!! more

Friends don't let friends... 4/2/2011

...eat here! Mike W1975 is dead-on. Thick, doughy crust (under cooked) some sparse, cold Canadian bacon, a few lonely pieces of Italian sausage and mushrooms that looked as if they were 4 weeks old...what a stinker! The high-school girl at the register got every (and I mean EVERY) element of our order wrong! The two manager-types watching her seemed to be amused. We were not. One time is the charm! more

Where is the MEAT??? 10/12/2010

If you like pizza thick dough and Cheese, Fuzzys is the place for you. However, If you want have some meat to eat on your pizza (ie: pepperoni, hamburger, sausage, etc.) you may want to go to any pizza Cafe. The salad was sparse and not fresh. The Spaghetti was awful. As for the service, the manager and owner need to be inside helping improve the image and food instead of being outside smoking and BSing. The person at the cash register was more worried about text messaging from her pink cell phone rather than keeping the area clean and tidy. Fuzzys in Katy is a very poor example of a Pizza and Italian Cafe. more

The Best 8/28/2010

The best pizza in Houston. It's worth the extra buck. It's not that expensive- you get a lot of food and it's high quality. If you can't afford to eat quality food out make it yourself at home. It seems these days people are just looking for heaping piles of expired trans fat and imitation cheese on a plate for less than a tip. more

Best Pizza in Katy 8/27/2010

This is the best pizza in Houston and Katy! They also make great, hearty salads! more

Not truthful and expensive.... 11/16/2009

Order a small pizza with 6 small slices and it will cost you over $23.00 at your door. That's almost $4.00 per slice. They never discuss their delivery charge and there prices are now ""over the top"". My husband and I will go to Saltgrass instead. We will order a less expensive dish....get a salad, bread and spend about the same and not feel so taken advantage of. They have lost a customer of over ten years forever. Pros: Lots of cheese Cons: Cost and secret delivery charge of $3.50 more

My favorite Pizza place 8/5/2009

Fuzzy's easily makes the best pizza (I'm talking about normal pizza's not crazy fancy ones) If you go there and just order a pepperoni pizza you will not be disappointed, they also have good mixes but I like staying classy with pepperoni. Although last time I got a half Hawaiian half sausages/pepperoni and it was reallly really good! Pros: Best pepperoni Pizza! more

Best Pizza I ever eat! 7/8/2009

I,ve been to Italy. I've been to New York. And I am a Pizza Lover. A friend of mine convinced me to try Fuzzy's Pizza Katy On Mason Road. When I took the first bite.. I feel in love with the pizza. I have never tasted anything like it before. Since Then, I started to invite family members and friends. And they all agreed about this resturant. How clean it is. Also, the service is fantastic. You also need to check the restrooms. They are very luxurous. Its like Vegas Hotels Restrooms. Now we know why the president and his wife LOVES Fuzzy's Pizza. I recommend everyone to try this fantastic pizza. It also has a kids playing area with tons of games! it also has huge flat screen TV's for kids to watch any movie! Fuzzy's Special: California-Vegetarian-Pepperoni and sausage. They are my favorite. Don't forget to order a Greek Salad while you wait for the scrumptous pizza. -Since I talked about this delicous pizza I myself am going to order one right now. Thank you Fuzzy's for this great food. Pros: Excellent Pizza,Clean resturant Cons: Price is a little high but its worth every penny. more

Fuzzy's - Good Food - Terrible Service and Wait Time and Expensive 1/9/2009

I went to Fuzzy's on Antoine just a few nights ago. I occasionally have this craving for really good pizza, and a really big tasty Greek salad. But it never fails. Every time I go to Fuzzy's, I vow that I will never return. The line is long, the service is terrible ( even if it is being served by Fuzzy himself ), and worst of all I have to take out a second mortgage just to pay for it! This time I changed lanes and went with a Gyro sandwich. Not for it's nutritional value, but rather because I thought they could get the food out to me faster; as compared to a slice of pizza! I was wrong. I asked for little extra yogurt sauce and was quickly charged an extra $1.00!! The sandwich alone was around $11.00! Ridiculous!! ( It was good however! ). I timed myself on my Fuzzy's experiment and was in the shop for about 40 minutes; includes line wait, and food wait. The service was smug and they were moving at anything but a sense of urgency. I will never go back! Pros: Great Food Cons: Service, Price and Wait Time more

horrible service 12/8/2008

I enjoy the food at fuzzy's however the service is absolutely horrible. During lunch time the restaurant is a disaster. Food and finished plates are left on the table for a very long time; flies fly over them. The staff does not put any effort to clearing or cleaning the tables as soon as their guests leave. Also there is no greeting when entering the restaurant; the place makes great food but the staff and service just ruins the experience. more

Best pizza in West Houston 6/18/2008

Fuzzy is amazing- a friend introduced almost a year ago and I've been back at least once a month since then! So many delicious different ""specialty"" pizzas (try White Quich- awesome!) and the 12in ""medium"" is perfect for two people or two meals. It's fast and simple- nothing of an ""atmosphere"" but they don't need any frills because the pizza speaks for itself. I usually do delivery or take-out but the giant-screen TV's make for an okay casual dining experience unless you come too early during ""dinner-time"" and you will end up watching cartoons with the many families/kids that frequent the place early in the evenings. Pros: amazingly delicious pizza, quick and easy ordering, family atmosphere if you want that Cons: cartoons on the big screen TV's and too many children if you don't want that more

STILL GOING STRONG! 1/10/2008

Howdy! I am here to say I am a loyal fan of Fuzzys Pizza, and will always be! I have been a fan since I held my sons softball league party there years ago. I am here to say they are sill going strong! One slice is practically a meal. Loaded, and boy do I mean loaded, with fresh cheese, tons of sauce and toppings. This pizza is not soggy, I'm tellin' ya its loaded! The only way you could mistake it for soggy is if you're used to cheap cardboard. This pizza is worth every penny. I cant find anything else to fill my oldest sons softball team up! Its a cozy family style place with a separate party area, away from the regular dining area. The party area accommodates an entire team. The manager will play whatever kids DVD you want on the big screen. The manager, I think hes Italian, is the most agreeable guy I know. He'd do whatever it takes to make his customers and their kids happy. Hey did I forget to tell ya they have cool video games for the kids in another private area?! Lots of fun filling food in a comfortable place. I couldn't ask for more! You gotta try this! Pros: family style, filling food, fresh food. homemade ral Italian style. Cons: I wish they were open 24-7! more

Fuzzy's Pizza is TERRIBLE (they used to be great)! 1/8/2008

A couple of months ago, I ordered a large, Thick-crust Fuzzy's Special Pizza. The pizza is super thin ( < 1/8 inch) and very soggy toward the center. I showed it to the manager. He insisted that it is the way it supposed to be. Since I ordered the same pizza many times before, I don't believe manager's story. So I asked for the owner. The owner admitted that they used a small dough to make the large pizza. So he gave me $10.00 back for the $22.00 pizza. Cons: Bad management. Pizza soggy wet. more

*SIMPLY GOURMET! 6/25/2006

Fuzzys Italian eatery has the best pizza for pizza foodies. If youre not a pizza foodie they have exquisite pasta, sandwiches and appealing salads. This restaurant is simply gourmet. Each pizza is skillfully crafted to satisfy the palate and quench ravenous hunger! Everything is fresh and delectable. The owner and staff have the highest of standards. The manager Nass is always there to make sure the customer is 100% contented. Fuzzys is a place you can choose from epicure specialty toppings, as well. I highly recommend Fuzzys pizza in Katy! Pros: Gourmet pizza options.Inviting and comfortable. Great staff! more

No Longer my favorite :-( 4/23/2006

Fuzzy's was my favorite for many years. Their service and quality took a dive this year though. The Greek Salads are still unbeatable, but the pizza is lacking. Several times I've noticed that the crust tastes old and not freshly made. It's heavier and simply not like it used to be. Twice I requested extra sauce and twice they barely put any sauce on the pizza. Bring back the good service and good pizza. Otherwise there are plenty of better choices in Katy now! Pros: cheese, toppings, greek salad Cons: old dough, poor service, lazy staff more
