Great Nurses and Staff 12/21/2005

Although you have to pay for a private room when delivering a baby at Fairfax Hospital, the hospital is a great place to be. I heard a lot of negative comments about it when I was in labor classes. When I got there, I was pleased with all of the staff and the care I received was excellent. The food, on the other hand, was lousy. more

A decent experience 12/2/2005

I ended up in labor and delivery for preterm labor a few weeks ago. We arrived at 11 pm. There was no one to be found to check us in. We waited for at least 15 minutes before someone wandered out of a back office. I had a lot of contractions during that time and it was scary that they treated my health so casually. Once up in labor and delivery, I received excellent care. They were on the ball and got my contractions stopped quickly. more

Excellent hospital! 8/10/2005

They have an excellent Triage system. Also In cases of emergency esp. obstetrics, things are very well taken care of. They have a very well equipped NICU and childrens ICU as well. With My very complicated pregnancy , I had to make several trips a week to this hospital and on the whole my experience was quite pleasant. I also like the radiology department in particular. Very nice staff ,very understanding and take time to explain to nervous to be moms! more
