TERRIBLE SERVICE, GONE WAY DOWNHILL 1/14/2011

TERRIBLE. I never review but making a point on this one so no one else wastes their hard earned money on this dump. Been going here for years with my family (since it opened). It's now under new owners and the service is absolutely HORRIBLE. You may get lucky but I wouldn't chance it for the price of a meal there. Here are a few tidbits: reserved a specific table which my family does every year for my birthday, they gave it away and didn't get us a new one for 45 minutes (this is after my mother called multiple times to check). As we waited (clearly angry) a waiter who was not involved actually came up to us and told us ""we had no right to the table"". Another occasion I got a steak that was very undercooked, to which the waiter stared at me, took my knife and fork out of my hand, cut into my steak again and said ""No, it's fine"". Another occasion they had a staff party so loud that my party couldn't hear eachother (not to mention there was no waitstaff in sight). I mean, really? It's sad to see since we've loved this restaurant for YEARS. Don't waste your money or your night at this overpriced establishment going downhill really fast. more

Fusion- I've died and gone to Martini heaven! 3/26/2008

Fusion has a very ""metropolitan"" ambience- Sophisticated and appealing to professionals, yet trendy and hip...appealing to a younger crowed. I'm from NYC and every time I go to Fusion, I feel as if though I am dining at some trendy restaurant in Gramercy Park, Manhattan. This is a good place if you are looking for ""atmosphere"" and have money to burn. My overall favorite part about the fusion experience is the Bar/Drink Menu. Bartenders=very friendly/quick. The bar itself is very sleek-made of slate, glass and dimly lit with an incredible selection of Martinis. The espresso martinis are delectable, same with the caramel apple martinis. The food is good. I am a fan of the Salmon dish and the sushi. The Pad Thai is pretty decent as well (accept I wish they'd use less banana peppers). Not a fan of their beef. They do, however, have GREAT Tapas. more
