They are expensive - you do not get what you pay for. I would consider other local options. more

Best Car Wash Ever! – I just moved into town and was told by a friend when looking for a car wash about Fuller service center Their was a little bit of a wait but very well worth it. My car came out looking better than it did when I purchased it! and the prices are definitely worth it. For sure your getting a lot more than what you pay for. I would highly recommend this place, and definitely be going back more

Better than most grease monkeys out there. 1/16/2012

We've had our vehicle worked on a few times. They are personable and will bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied. Won't let you leave unhappy if something is not fixed right. Will pick up your car from anywhere and give you a free loaner or take you back to work if things will take too long at the garage. Service is their number one goal. The owners have been in Hinsdale for generations and they stand by their reputation. When in doubt, check 'em out. more

Not Worth the Convenience... 8/25/2010

Sure, it's appealing to be able to get a quick Oil Change and a Car Wash at the same time, but please reconsider before letting them do ANYTHING mechanically related to your vehicle. First off, they do not employ ASE-certified techs or support american labor. For all you know, if a job gets sold they pull one of their guys off the car wash line and hand him a wrench. I have seen the botched results of many of their attempts at ""fixing"" things, and it is not quality work. Stripped drain plugs leaking oil after an oil change. Damaged A/C ports doing a recharge. Throwing parts into a problem because they can't accurately determine a solution. At face value their service is great, but I have found them to be generally indignant when it comes to claiming responsibility for any misdoing on their part. Essentially, they use the appeal of a car wash to get you in for service because they lack the credibility of a genuine service station, which blows my mind that it works, because how many people would let a car wash work on their car in the first place? If you must go there, keep it strictly for the wash and wax. If you somehow get stuck in a situation where they're trying to push work on you, tell 'em you only let qualified mechanics service your vehicles. more

No question with honesty. It's possible employees could steal, but generally, Colin and others are vigilent and the workers are continually watched, so I would not suspect a huge theft like this and while the other reviewer was critical of how the theft is handled, anyone who owns a business does the same thing...refer to their insurer and what do insurers do? They take your premiums and do not want to pay out. That's how they are on top of the stock market. So unless you have photographic evidence and affadavits, you will lose in a property claim. It's happened to me and probably most people.\r Have frequented Fuller's on/off for 46 years, when my parents went there, but have had my ""issues."" Have to return numerous times sometimes to get things fixed and. Cost is higher too, about 15%. They are human, and can be profiteers and so like with anything, you have to watch what they do.\r \r Ultimately, sometimes I feel borderline with them, but right now I believe in their honesty, and am willing to pay more for the convenience and outstanding service. Pros: Great Service/convenient/honest Cons: cost 15% more and getting it right the first time! more

Theft at Fuller's Hinsdale 6/4/2008

I took my car to Fuller's Service Center 5/19 @ 12:30pm, for an oil change & to check an overheating problem. After an hour, I asked if the vehicle was done and was told that the radiator's fan went out and that they could give me a ride back to work. They called later saying the part was only available through the manufacturer for $250. The car already being there, I told them to just continue with the repair. They picked me up at 5:30pm from work, and I waited while they washed my car. I spoke with the service manager, about details of the servicing. He said the car just got finished being serviced and left the garage at 5:30, right when I arrived. I got my car at 6pm and noticed my GPS, radar detector, and cell phone charger were missing and notified Colin Fuller, the manager, immediately. He asked me to give him a day to figure things out and he'd call me the next day since most of his employees were gone. 5/20, I called & he said he was looking into it and would get back to me later that day. 5/21, after not receiving a return call, I called again and he told me he's still looking into it, but did search 3 of his employees vehicles, and would call me back later in the day. I filed a police report with Hinsdale police and a complaint with the business bureau that day. 6/3, after never receiving a return call, I received their response from their attorney saying that I am lying because I've been going there for 2 years and claimed to have used my GPS shortly before taking the car in (why would a truthful person need to use their GPS to go somewhere they've been going to for 2 years) and that I didn't notify them until 1 1/12 hours after my car was serviced (lie). I highly recommend not patronizing Fuller's, but in my experience the attitude of management is very unprofessional and arrogant, your possessions are not safe, and Fuller's accepts no responsibility for a theft by what I believe to be one of their employees (since the car never left the garage). Pros: Complimentary car wash with 10-minute oil change. Cons: Theft, Arrogant Management more
