We love, love this place! Best Sushi in Miami by far! The staff is beyond friendly and very sweet with our boys. We would go there so much, that there is a roll named after me on the menu called the ""Debbie Roll"" It's awesome! Grilled Salmon, avocado, crab salad, cucumber, and served with unagi sauce on top!! We have lived in many areas, and we always go back to Fujiya when we are in Miami!! more

This is a really simple place with great sushi. I haven't tried much else than their sushi. I suggest the ecstasy rolls, simply amazing. I also suggest that you go during a time that's not su busy. It's a small business so they don't really have the man power to support a large clientel. However, on a regular basis they serve the food very quickly. Service is absolutely nurturing. more

I came here for lunch for the first time today after doing a search for "the best sushi in Kendall." I was craving a wakame salad and some gyoza (after watching far too many Morning Musume clips on YouTube) and this place did NOT disappoint. Super oishii desu yo! I also ordered the tsukemono as well, and for dessert some kurugoma daifuku. My waitress was extremely shinsetsuna (kind) and indulged me while I spoke in my broken Japanese. I will definitely plan on making a regular stop here after my workouts. And arigatou to all who have reviewed for helping me discover Fujiya! more

I love the rolls. The place is cute and quaint. The service is good. It's the definitely the best sushi place in Kendall and I wouldn't go anywhere else in Kendall for my sushi. more

Best Sushi in Miami! The sashimi is the best and freshest anywhere. I have been eating there for a long time and the service is more then excellent, fish is incredibly fresh. The Zonie and BCBS rolls are their secret creation! Im afraid to give away the best kept secret in Kendall..... more

I've been coming to this place for over fifteen years - literally since I was five. So I can honestly say not much has changed at Fujiya - in a good way! Cozy, friendly, family run joint with authentic Japanese food. It has eschewed trendiness and the prices that come with it that one seems to find in a lot of newer asian places (sushi maki, anyone?) in favor of a laid back environment where affordable, familiar dishes are served. I'll keep coming. more

Fujiya offers consistently good sushi! I frequent the restaurant and have yet to have a bad experience. Fish is incredibly fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful, it's always clean - and you get the sense that they genuinly appreciate your business (even before the recession). \r \r They recently supplemented their sushi menu with lots of new and exciting rolls - Beware... the Scorpionl, BCBS and Ecstasy rolls are addictive! \r \r The chef also got creative with the addition of Spicy Tuna Nachos - delicous! The "chips" are crispy rice crackers topped with seaweed, rice, spicy tuna, cilantro and kimchee! YUMM-O! more

I am a huge sushi fan and this is the best sushi in Miami. Yes it is better than Nobu. Scorpion roll taste great with chunks of jalapeño. BCBS,zonie, extasy and spicy tuna are beyond great. Really fresh sushi joint that is always full and service is great. Really kid friendly. I recommend fujiya to anyone that loves sushi. Even people that didn't like sushi love sushi now after visting this place. more

Love this place - won't go anywhere else for sushi. The staff is super friendly and knows exactly what we like. The white tuna sashimi is outstanding. If you find a sushi place you like, you won't go anywhere else. This IS that place. Pros: Freshes Sushi more

Best Sushi Restaurant ANYWHERE! We miss you Fujiya! 2/11/2008

After moving to Denver last year, and finding NO good sushi here, it was FABULOUS to be back in MIAMI (feb 2008) where we lived for over 30 yrs. FUJIYA is one of our most favorite restaurants, and the BEST sushi I have found anywhere I've travelled. Its always nice to spend a few hours there,! They have an incredibly delicious menu, lots of sushi rolls, great shumai, great tempura, great sashimi - always FRESH and full of flavor! The most wonderful experience in sushi dining EVERY time we have been there. When I lived in MIAMI, we'd go at least once a week. Prices are perfect, portions are perfect. The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and very polite!! Best service ever, and every single time, whether is busy or not. We truly miss you FUJIYA!! Please come open a restaurant here in DENVER!! Pros: the entire place is a treasure Cons: they don't have one here in Denver more

I think that Fujiya is the best Sushi restaurant theres is, its a romantic and causal place, but the people there are so sweet and nice they treat like there own family. I go there atleast once a week. Their the best! Pros: The people that work there are so nice. more

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Miami! Awesome food, great service and everything. I go there all the time with my friends, usually when there is a long weekend (no school :) and drive there to enjoy it's delicious tempura and yummy sushi :) the prices are good (especially for what you getting) and the people are REALY REALLY nice ^_^ The place is authentic too, I know I've been to Japan, pretty good ^^ Pros: people, food, surroundings more

Certainly the best Japanese restaurant in Miami. The food is fresh, perfect, homemade and totally delicious. The portions are big, os you are getting what you pay for. Its perfect for kids, they have cutest plates for them to eat on and silverware. They had a blast. For dessert don't forget GREEN TEA Sundae with Japanese balck beans. We luv it !!! more

A Hidden Gem In West Kendall... 5/31/2002

I'm about as fanatical as they come when it comes to sushi. Having tried just about every sushi restaurant in Miami/Miami Beach nothing holds a torch to this little pearl in the oyster that is Miami. From Nobu to Shoji to Bond Street or Shibui, the rolls here are bigger and fresher and maintain a good sturdiness while having the ability to just melt in your mouth. Even the wasabi is hotter than anywhere in Miami!YUM! Service is wonderfully friendly and attentive, you're greeted by *everyone* as you enter the restaurant and leave. Non-sushi dishes excel here as well...ohgod, now I'm having a craving...see you there! more
