Man in a Salon 4/18/2011

I dicovered Fueled about 5 years ago. As a guy a going to a salon I feel right at home. This place has perfect music and the talent to do my hair and keep my eyebrows tamed. I get so many compliments. this place could easy be found in NYC. I love the whole expereince. The staff is nothing but kind and willing to answer my questions or grab me a great treat. A lot of thought is put into every decision made at Fueled. The staff is high spirited and are natural borns at what they do!! more

Fueled is all heart! I've been coming to this salon for about 4 years from a strong recommendation from my neighbor. We both live up on the north side and make the trek to this cool suburban spot. I am so grateful my friend referred me to Fueled because my hair has never looked better! Not only do they have the most skilled staff, they are THE absolute sweetest too! Exceptional service like theirs is hard to come by, which is why i only go to them! Every time I walk into the salon, i am treated like a million bucks, not to mention i look like a million bucks after i leave! ;) more

Been going to Fueled for years, they are the best in the biz. Always out for the customer's best interest and offer lots of goodies, good prices, and a great staff. I don't go anywhere else to get my haircut. more

Found: retro cool salon in 'burbs minus the attiutude 11/1/2009

I spent most of my life, looking for a stylist that a I could connect with about my hard to manage hair. I finally found her at Fueled salon. I love the fact that it's not a corporate salon and that its family owned by 2 sisters! How cool is that! FUELED rocks!!! 10/5/2009

This the cutest salon ever! It's totally urban and posh. I come all the way from Lincoln Park just to get my hair done here! I completely reccommend it! All the stylists are great! And they always know just what to say to make my day! FYI i also got my boyfriend to get his hair cut @ FUELED and he won't go any where else! I overheard him telling his buddies that hands down its the only place he's ever truly been completely happy with his haircut everytime! Also, I love how everyone that works at FUELED always takes the time to talk to me and make me feel extra-special! more

I have been coming here for 5 years and I absolutely love this place!!!!! The girls couldn't be nicer :) The prices sooo good, and totally not over priced. Truly the best place in the burbs to get your hair done. You gotta check it out. xoxo more

It's Urban in a Suburban World! 5/28/2009

Having moved here from New York, I can honestly say that N.Y.C is in second place when it comes to hip, eclectic haircuts. Fueled is definitely in 1st place. In fact, I feel Fueled is the place making the trends happen. My friends back home in N.Y.C compliment me every single time! This is not your typical salon...I promise you! Fueled also has a strict policy that only rockin haircuts walk out the door! more

The best thing that could happen to you and your hair!!! 2/12/2009

Fueled is the best place to go to get your hair colored, cut, etc..! The girls always know exactly what you want and they make you beautiful!!! After your visit from Fueled, more people will approach you than ever before, true story! You always have a great experience at Fueled and the stylists are bootylicious, (alil somethin for the male customers)!! When you go out, you won't need any money because you will look so hot from your haircut, you will get free stuff! Fueled is the Best thing that could ever happen to you and your hair!!! Pros: Staff, Ambience, Service, Drinks/Food Cons: none! more

A hip laid back friendly atmosphere. Wonderful people who are seriously awesome professionals and really know their business. They make you feel like family. The hairdresser is a hair guru/ hair icon!\r Also, if you want to hear a dead-on impersonation of Marissa Tomei from ?My Cousin Vinny? it?s a must hear and see performance by my hairdresser Kristina! You always come out of Fueled looking beautiful with a big smile on your face! more

I love coming to fueled because of the special treatment, kindness, & love from all the wonderful people especially Kristina. She is professional and knows exactly what to do. Every customer feels important & well feed!!: ) The personal care & touches such as Christmas gifts are so special. Each person at fueled feels like family & they always are so positive. when deciding to cut my hair really short, I knew that I could trust the stylists at Fueled to make sure I not only didn't end up looking like a guy or an old woman, but that I would love my new style as well. I feel totally comfortable taking risks with my hair cut and color at Fueled because I know that the stylists there have the talent, experience, and taste. Plus, they are open-minded and not judgemental and will basically do whatever crazy style you want!\r \r I also love going here for the extra services like the foot massage machine as I wait for my color to set, the mini buffet of desserts and fun drinks, and the mini library of self-help books and magazines.\r \r an overall experience with creativity and no intimidation. more

FUELED is pure talent and totallly passionionate about everything thing they do, This place is so cool! Everyone (staff and other guests) are so incredibly nice! A guest sitting next to me overheard it was my first time at FUELED, leaned over and told me, "You picked the best salon, you are going to enjoy your experience and your hair is going to look amazing! " .....I do look amazing now! I have tell you that I felt like I was at party when I was there, the guests and the staff were all so fun! more
