Fry's Electronics

On April 19, 2011 it took me 40 minutes one way on highway to get to that store. Being huge in size and well supplied I expected to get my item quick. Instead the manager of the department said that they do not have the item, though another helping guy helped me to find the case for the new I-Pad. I also bought the protecting cover. At the time of payment I asked about the policy of return. The cashier confirmed that it was 30 days from purchase, no other information had been given. After trying in the cover and discovering poor performance of it I took it back to the store for return on April 22, spending in total about 3 hours of my time driving again to same store. At the "customer service" the manager refused to accept the item back with refund in the very rood manner, as if it is not them for the customers but the customers are there for them. There is another store ABT in Chicago area, it is packed with customers constantly, they have the customer service, they do care. more

Fry's Electronic's isn't a store, it's an event. Then again, any store with an espresso bar deserves to be put into its own category. If you can plug it in or it takes 4 AAA batteries, Fry's sells it. They also have an impressive selection of music, videos, and computer components. If you're married, watch your husbands. I've lost mine several times in this store; they just tend to wander off.... Prices are okay, but not very competitive. If you want selection, come here. If you want value, go somewhere else. more

They have everything from RAM of various types and speeds, to flashlights, to DVDs, video games, TVs and capacitors. The DVDs are a little pricey, but the selection is the best I've ever seen in a brick-and-mortar store. There's also high-quality coffee and non-alcoholic drinks served in an enjoyable central café. more

Fry's is like a warehouse of electronics and accessories. They have very competitive prices and a lot of merchandise in stock. The store is much bigger than Best Buy or Circuit City and the prices seem to be cheaper. They also have a cafe area which is nice considering people spend a whole afternoon in there. I like this store because they have many checkout lanes too, so the lines move quickly and it seems very well organized and efficient. more
