I have grown up around shotguns and rifles but have not been around many handguns. My husband and I recently decided to purchase handguns(before we no longer can). I went shopping with my sister while my husband was at work. We shopped the big stores and we stopped by Harrison's and though either of us could have bought whatever we wanted, we were dismissed right away while the owner stopped talked to a friend that walked in the store. They were talking local politics. Big Mistake...\r
We left and went on to FF and though they were very busy, we were greeted as we walked through the doors. We had not been there long when the store owner picked up her phone and called up a friend to come in and help us. That man, an off-duty officer volunteering his time, spent 45 minutes with us and answered every question we could think of. I explainded I still wanted my husband's opinion before actually purchasing. He did not try to force me into a quick purchase. He genuinely wanted me to make the right choice for me. \r
My husband and I went the next day and were again greeted right away. Again a off-duty officer volunteer salesman answered many questions and was so very patient. He even helped me by sort of giving me the longgun comparison.... \r
We purchased 2 guns from them that day. My sister and two of her friends have all purchased at least one from them and were treated the same. I do not understand, and am somewhat offended by, the comments made by the man who says he did not get a return call from them. \r
If I were to decide to purchase another gun, I would shop Frontier first.
Pros: Genuine staff. Good guys.
Cons: cramped store made me feel a little chlostrophobic
