Frjtz for the Fries, of course 3/4/2006

Where the idea for Frjtz came from, I have no idea. But you’ll be happy someone thought to combine crepes, thick French Fries served in an ice cream dish, and live DJ music in this cozy café. The fries are a must-order; but the atmosphere makes Frjtz memorable. Well worth a trip to Hayes Valley for an economical meal. more

Great fries 6/20/2005

Frjtz (pronounced "fritz") is a Belgian Fry place. It offers very affordable food. (You have to try the fries and dipping sauces.) And they have crepes, salads and sandwiches. Plus they have good beer on tap. There's a nice outside dining area, if the weather is nice. And they frequently have DJs spinning hip music. more
