Worst

While receiving a perm treatment, my skin was burned. I cannot comment on Fringe Hair Salon Studio expertise in doing hair, as I am still recovering from 1st degree chemical burns...

Fringe is a great small salon with skilled stylists (I've had cuts by three of them-) and very reasonable prices. Dana managed to beautifully execute the exact cut I wanted from a movie still of a CARTOON CHARACTER-! Yes, I wanted the hairstyle of a cartoon character; more importantly- Dana made it happen! Expect to be happy here :) more

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Debbie has been cutting my hair for a while now. I came to her with a horrible color and cut. She has worked with me to create the color that compliments me and her cuts are always exceptional. Her staff is friendly and welcoming and I watch them style the whole time I'm there and am always impressed with the outcome. I would highly recommend to anyone. The location is easy too, right off of highway 36 and McCaslin Blvd. in Louisville with lots of great dining options, massage, nails, and more right next to it. I say make a day of it! more

i am so happy that i found this salon and all the people who work there. as far as the negativity reaction from Barbara, i can't believe that she is complaining about her own fault from a chemical burn. she should have been sure that her skin can accept chemicals and done her own research. as a fellow stylist , i know the protection that stylist do before they ever attempt to do any chemical service. we always test the skin and hair to see any reaction, if a person has has this service done before and we know this, we will proceed without doing the skin test. its up tho the person to tell us if they have ever had any reaction. I am so pleased i went to this salon! I just moved here from California and was absolutely clueless on where to go. I got online and read all the great reviews this salon had, and thought I would try it out. Very happy I did!! The salon Is beautiful!! its so friendly, clean, inviting and the energy was fantasic! Everybody smiled at me, they all said hello.. (rare in the salon world!) Debbie did such a great job on my hair and I will be back! great job:) more

Great Hair Cuts! 4/2/2012

Debbie has been cutting my hair for a few years now, and she is great! I have never once not been happy with the cut. She does exactly what I want, and never cuts it too short (which I found that a lot of hair cutters do). I love fringe! its a great place, with an amazing environment too. more

My skin was burned 2/16/2012

While receiving a perm treatment, my skin was burned. I cannot comment on Fringe Hair Salon Studio expertise in doing hair, as I am still recovering from 1st degree chemical burns on my neck. I am in shock and devastated that a hair treatment could go so wrong. The stylist was unprofessional, arrogant and did not assume any responsibility. Although the owner listened to my frustrations, she was nevertheless duplicitous and offered no resolution. P.S. I paid for this burn, $200.00 more

Great Salon 1/4/2012

My family and I have been to many salons and we have finally found a great one. We have thick crazy hair and it is difficult to work with, the stylists at Fringe have done a great job in working with our dos!! The ownwer is so nice and her staff is very talented and friendly. They are a great group and we recommend Fringe to everyone. It is also a great place for hair products, good ones. Thanks!! more

Fringe has the great vibe of a sophisticated salon without the snobby attitude. Real artists at their craft in a fun, upbeat environment. Ask for Jessica. She's awesome with color. more

Everyone in the salon is amazing. Very friendly, and welcoming. I've never left there with bad hair. Debbie does fantastic work and I would trust anyone else in there to do my hair as well. Great atmosphere, great customer service, and fantastic talent. more
