Friedman M Dr

This is an awesome place when looking to get hip new glasses. I happened upon this little gem of an office by accident when I was getting a coffee across the street. I had been looking for a new pair of glasses but nothing has caught my eye so I figured I would walk in and see what they had. I was very surprised by their selection. They had brand names such as Versace, Bvlgari, Gucci, Fred and Tom Ford and so many others. They seemed to have glasses in all price ranges, something for everyone. They also have a large selection of sunglasses including Dolce and Gabbana, Juicy Couture, Prada, and Christian Dior. The office is very comfortable and they seem to be quite busy. I ended up having an eye examination although I did not have an appointment. The optometrist was very helpful and so is the rest of the staff. I also got contact lenses which they had in stock which was very convenient. To top it all off they took my insurance VSP. I will definitely go back to Dr. Friedman's office. more

I would highly recommend Dr Levin. For the past few years my husband and I have been going to him and he is by far the most thorough optometrist we have been to. He really takes the time to make sure you have the correct prescription. He fitted my husband with bifocal contact lenses and because they were going to take a week to get in he gave some free lenses to him so he could see in the meantime. I also suffer from eye allergies and on more than one occasion I have called the office and Dr Levin always takes me the same day when I am having terrible eye irritation just to make sure I am okay. He is also very funny and personable. more

I work at Sony Studio right across the street from Dr. Friedman's office. I knew they were there because they have been doing Sony Health Fairs for years. I just needed new lenses for my glasses and I was extremely impressed with their quick and excellent quality of service. The staff is very outgoing, friendly and conscientious. Because they took such great care of me I decided to transfer all my records from my Optometrist in Beverly Hills to Dr. Friedman's office. I have not yet seen the eye doctor but I plan to make an appointment for myself, my wife and our son. more

Dr. Friedman's office is great. I saw Dr. Levin he gave me a super detailed exam and answered all my questions. The whole staff is friendly, the optician who helped me was very knowledgeable and recommended a very thin lens with a special coaing to cut glare. I could not be happier with their service. You cannot go wrong at this office. I thought the prices were reasonalbe too. more

The first time I went to Dr Friedman's office I was 16. I needed to get my eyes examined for my drivers license. My parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles have all been patients at Dr Friedman's office for as long as I can remember. Without giving away my age let's just say I have been coming here forever. My parents used to have Medi-cal and I will never forget the way they were treated. With dignity and respect. We have all been off medi-cal now for years but we would never go anywhere else for our eyecare. Dr Friedman's office always did us right and they truely give exceptional service. more

Dr Friedman's office was recommended to me by a trusted friend. I saw Dr. Levin who is an excellent doctor. His exam was extremely thorough which I really value because I have terrible eye sight. He used a lot of trial contact lenses until he got my prescription just right. He measured my eyes and determined that I was wearing the wrong shape contacts for my eyes. I'm glad he was careful and patient because now I have excellent lenses that really work for me. I highly recommend him and their entire office. more

The wait for the doctor was about 15-20 minutes (without an appointment). The doctor that examined me was extremely thorough. He pulled out a replica of an eye and explained in detail why my eyes always felt dry and irritated. After the exam I sat with an optician who very patiently explained to me my insurance. They have an awesome frame selection. All the opticians use cool laptops-nothing is written anywhere. I love the Blvgari glasses I got and yea they were a great deal! Even if I did not have my insurance discount I would definitely go there again because all the staff was super nice and helpful. more

I have been a patient there for more than 10 years and would never go else where. Dr. Friedman's office is awesome. Their prices are great for contacts and glasses. I have sent all my friends and family to them and they are all happy. Even my extremely picky mother who has excellent taste but requires a lot of attention! The selection of glasses is vast for the size of the office. You will get great personal attention. The ladies are all so helpful and patient. I have an extremely high prescription so I wear mostly contacts but the lenses on my glasses are very thin and light thanks to the expertise of the opticians who always recommend the best. I love this office and I think they genuinely care about me!! more

May 29, 2009 I did not have an appointment but they advertise walk-ins welcome so I went in without an appointment. I have vision insurance and I thought I was covered. The staff here is so patient and nice. They called my insurance company for me, They must have been on hold for at least 15 minutes. It turns out the insurance company had difficulty determining if I had eye exam and glasses coverage. They told Dr Friedman's office they would need to call them back on Monday. However the insurance company did say if I was covered for an exam I would have a $10 co-pay. The woman at the desk felt sorry that I had waited so long while she checked my benefits that she said they would do the eye exam anyway and just collect the $10 co-pay. I thought that was pretty fantastic. The exam was very good. The doctor explained all the tests she had performed and was very professional. The opticians were great too. Even though I was not buying glasses today because I was not sure of my coverage they still helped me find glasses and were very patient as I tried on different glasses over and over again. I will definitely be back to buy the glasses with or without my insurance. Very classy office. I definitley recommend. more

allysa f. I walked in on a busy Saturday and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff person. I told the lady I wanted an eye examination and she told me there would be a short wait. They have two doctors so I ended up waiting only 20 minutes without an appointment. I was very impressed with all the high tech equipment. For only $47 they took a picture of my eye with a retinal camera. The doctor showed me the results in his office on a computer and then they emailed the picture to me at work for my records. The optician who helped me with my glasses was extremely patient and friendly. She and I chose a great frame to match my face. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Friedman's office and would highly recommend them. more

I had my eyes examined at this quaint Optometry office in Culver City. I am new to the area so I was not sure where to go. Because they advertised Walk-Ins Welcome I figured I'd give it a shot. I was delighted with the selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses at this office. First I was greeted by a very friendly front office person who directed me to the designer glasses. Their selection was like what you would expect to find at a Beverly Hills store but without the high prices. I also ended up having my eyes examined and I was very pleased with the thoroghness of the doctor. I am happy to recommend Dr Friedman office! more

This was my first experience at Doctor Friedman's office in Culver City. I came in with my wife and two kids. We were first greeted by a very friendly staff who quickly set us up to see the doctor. The doctor was very professional and answered all my questions. They have what appeared to be pretty high tech equipment. My whole family got glasses. I had to come back for mine because I have a difficult prescription but my wife and kids got theirs the same day. When I came back I again was greeted by a friendly staff and I met with an optician who adjusted my glasses and off I went. Overall, I would say this place gets a 10! more
