This restaurant has the potential to be the most popular German eatery in the area; the food is true to German taste, from the cabbage soup to the schnitzels, but the service leaves much to be desired. I've been going there in the summer for 18 years now, and the food is consistently satisfying, but the staff is definately overworked. Last time i went, our waiter had about 10 tables to himself, 2 of which were parties of 6+, but he did make a point to apologize to us about the wait, and because he took such a good attitude with us about the sluggish service, we didn't hold it against him or the place. Definately try to avoid dining during the evening, as there will be a wait and they are infinately busier.
Pros: FOOD.
Cons: very busy in the evening, parking difficult, noisy & dark
