I just had my second appointment with Regina at Fresh salon and I am very well pleased with Regina and the salon overall ! On my second appointment I had a cut with Nikki and she was wonderful, great energy and a great hair cut she knew just what to do with my hair! I have moved here from a big city in April and it was very hard to find a good Salon that knew just what to do and not rob your wallet at the same time! more

I have been coming to Fresh for about 2 year now and I've never left disappointed. The atmosphere and attitude at Fresh is enough to keep me coming back, but the skill that these ladies and gentlemen have is state-of-the-art. My hair has never looked so...FRESH! ;) more

I have been looking for a colorist since I relocated here in March, and finally, after trying different salons, I found Regina! She is awesome! Everyone at fresh makes me feel so welcome...great group of people! Regina really knows what she's doing and listens and gives great feedback so that you will make the right decisions. I'm new to Charlotte, so I hadn't yet found my ""salon"". I'd been to one a couple of months ago, but didn't really like it. Today, I found my new salon. Regina did an awesome job with my color. I brought her a picture of myself with the hair color I wanted. She was very up-front in telling me what was a realistic expectation. I was not going to be able to go as light as I was in the picture. She got me as close as you can get. Beautiful red, perfect highlights! Then Dustin trimmed my hair. Wonderful! He listened to me and asked me what I wanted. I have curly hair and wanted to blow dry it straight. He didn't go straight for the hair iron. He asked if I wanted stick straight or straight with movement. There's a choice?!? We did straight with movement. My husband said it's the best he's ever seen my hair straight. The salon is bright and beautiful. Everyone is friendly. I could not have had a better experience. more

I just moved to Charlotte and was looking for a new hairdresser and ran into Sean Foley who invited me to his salon for a cut. I have curly hair and straight bangs - and most hairdressers I've been to either cut the bangs wrong so that they don't stay straight or don't know how to work with curls. Sean was able to cut my hair so that my bangs fall straight every time and my curls have more lift. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, and offered his expertise. He has also worked as an Aveda Instructor so you know he's good. I highly recommend seeing Sean. I wouldn't go anywhere else after this cut. more

I recently had my hair colored and high-lighted by Regina Rueda. She did a fabulous job! I have had so many compliments because of her work. Regina listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations .I highly recommend her! more

I've been a chronic ""salon hopper"" for years. Not because I'm hard to please, but because it was so hard to find a place that left me excited about my experience. Let me just say, my search for the perfect salon is over. After a lot of research, I decided to give Fresh a try, even though it's a 40 min drive from my house. TOTALLY worth the drive! Jen did my highlights and did an amazing job. Amanda did my cut, and I've never been happier. My husband keeps telling me how hot I look. lol. Everyone there was incredibly sweet and friendly, and I didn't have to take out a loan just to afford my hair! Great prices and AWESOME results. Fyi, the products they use are not a waste of $$. I'm always skeptical when stylists try to upsale me on product. This stuff (Arrojo... remember him from TLC?) is definitely a good buy. more

Like one of the other reviewers, I, too, am a bit of a ""hair snob"", especially when it comes to getting the color, highlights, and cut just right. My hair is somewhat unruly in that it has a lot of natural curl and takes a stylist with real talent (and patience!) to get the cut how I like it. In addition, being a dark brunette, getting the highlights to look nice also takes a rea lartist. Fortunately, I finally found all of that artisitic talent I longed for in Amanda and Adrena at Fresh Salon. In fact, I call them the ""A-team"" because Amanda cuts and styles my hair better than anyone I've ever been to and Adrena is the best colorist I've found in this town. And I should know, being a Charlotte native, I've naturally been to dozens of salons over the years and finally lucked up with finding both of them under the same roof called Fresh Salon - an uncommon blend of uniqueness and simplicity with an open and airy atmosphere, chic decor with relaxing colors, and super-friendly staff who make you feel right at home. I could go on and on about Adrena and Amanda, but all you need to know is: they are very professional; warm and kind, up-to-date on the latest styles and techniques; and most importantly, they listen to what you want and deliver satisfaction at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? A great location? Yes, the location is premo - just off Providence Rd. at I-485, very convenient. I admit that I am a snob when it comes to my haircuts. I have a ton of long, thick hair and I need someone who knows what they are doing. I was going to the same, high end stylist in Chicago for almost 10 years. Then we moved to Charlotte. For hours I researched a new stylist via the web and friends. I recently visited Fresh and had an incredible experience! From the minute I walked in, I was greeted with smiles from their receptionists, and I was offered something to drink and within minutes I was in the chair ready to go! My stylist did a FANTASTIC job! She cut my hair PERFECT and was so SWEET! The atmosphere at Fresh is unlike any other salon! FRESH is definitely the right word to describe it! It is beautifully designed with bright colors, FRESH flowers, and they play some great music! I honestly felt at home!...On my way out, the receptionists asked about my experience, and they made me feel like they really cared about how it went, all of them were very professional and SO sweet! I cant wait till my hair grows just so I can visit Fresh again! :-D more

I have been a customer for about a year now and I love this salon. This salon is full of friendly people...from the receptionists to the stylists (especially my stylist...NIKKI....can't say ENOUGH good things about her!!!) Nikki listens to what I want, cuts exactly what I ask, or has suggestions when I don't know exactly what I want...but, no matter what I always leave the salon happy!!! I've lived in Charlotte for 17 years, and am only sorry that it has taken me this long to find someone who cuts my hair as well as Nikki! She came highly recommended by a great friend whose haircuts I've always admired. Usually it takes a stylist several cuts to get something that I'm happy with, but Nikki did an amazing job the first time she cut my hair! I am also very appreciative of her recommendation of the Sebastian Drench shampoo and conditioner - they have made SUCH a difference in the texture of my hair.
