I had a dreadful experience with Frenchmen. I waited the scheduled 4 hour time period and they never showed, or called, or answered my calls to them (no recording either). I didn't know if they went out of business and I lost my a/c! A few days later I reached the secretary, and she had no explanation other than ""he was late"" and ""I was busy with other lines."" (??) She rescheduled me for the following week, and when that day came I called, and she told me that I was scheduled for the next day! (There is no way this mistake was mine.) I told her never mind, and that I just wanted to be reimbursed for my a/c. The next day they delivered it when I just happened to be home. I paid for it, since it was there and I'd otherwise have to buy a new one anyway. It was dirty on the outside. The metal grate in back was bashed in. Parts were missing, other parts were broken. The installer had to do some savvy workmanship to make it still work.
