Never again 6/2/2013

This guy is a thief and has more confidence than knowledge. Shop around and compare with other shops. You'll see. If you want a Chinese beach cruiser or three wheeler and dont mind spending more than its worth then go there. If you are a "cyclist" keep looking. This is not that kind of bike shop. And dont let them touch your bike. more

Great,friendly,helpful.\r I walked in the store one day to have a bike serviced and I happened to ask him if the bike is the right kind for me to learn to ride. He said "" I am the best teacher in town"" I will teach you.I didn't believe that I could ever learn to ride a bike at 55. Sure enough Frenchie taught me how to ride. On my 3rd hour I was going. This gentleman has great skills and unforgetable teaching technics. Really appreciate it!\r I would highly recommend him. more

A liar and a fraud 2/25/2012

Needed a minor brake adjustment and was told that the entire bake needs to be taken a part to center the front disk brake. The repair was to take over an hour. Pros: null Cons: null more

Out of the Mouth of Our 8 Year Old Son, "Frenchie is the best bike teacher ever!!"\r \r I rarely take the time to write on-line reviews. However, I wanted to share our experience with Frenchie's and, in particular with Frenchie. After reading the other reviews, there was one comment I felt most deserved a response. To the reviewer who recommended that parents not put their kids in contact with Frenchie, I would suggest that is a nasty and unfounded remark! Frenchie taught our 8 year old son to ride a bike this weekend in a supportive and encouraging way! He was as excited as our child when he took off on the bike for the first time.\r \r I am a former Assistant State Attorney and my husband a police Lieutenant. I consider us very good judge's of character. While Frenchie is a straight-forward, tell is like it is, man he was wonderful with our son (who can't wait to go back).\r \r My husband and I had both attempted to teach our son to ride. Buy a bike from Frenchie's!!! I had been considering purchasing a bike for exercise for a while and I am so glad I chose Frenchie's to help guide me in deciding what would be an appropriate bike for me! I explained to the owner what I was looking for and he showed me numerous bikes, explaining the differences in each. He helped fit a helmet to my head, explained the bike I purchased in detail, and gave me tips about riding. What a positive experience! I love my new bike!!! more

Not an honest business 3/28/2011

I would like to rate this service in the NEGATIVES. Worst service ever! I was over charged for a crank change and they changed the bike petals and did an inspection which was not authorized! Basically the crank change should of been $25. and they charged me $75. They scam people to make money! more

What a happy surprise ! 3/23/2011

I went shopping for a bike, and after going to 4 stores I came to Frenchies Bike Store in Margate. What a nice surprise. They had this huge quantity of bikes and was able to help me . There prices were the best I had seen all day. I ended up buying my bike from them. I have been very happy since. Their service on my bike has been great since my purchase. They take care of me immidiately , and do a real good job for me. Pros: null Cons: null more

great, fantastic, helpful 3/21/2011

Went to have a repair done . They did while I waited, at a fair price. I called a few shops all around and none could or would do that. They were pleasent to deal with. They new what they were doing. I truely enjoyed the the time there with all the pets, birds and cat. My kids loved it also. The shop even let my children hold the bird and pet him. My children never did that before. They loved it. Go, it was fun. more

I took my bike for some tuning. the owner tried to charge me for things tha i do not needed.\r \r he even did a diagnostic with out even turning the pedals.\r \r be aware...this is not an honest guy.... more

Thank you for a wonderful experience. Besides a quality bike for my 8 year old, Frenchie taught her how to ride the bike in two 30 minute lessons. Next will be my 5 year old son! Thanks Frenchie, you're the best! more

Great Shop, Terrific Owner! 3/13/2011

Frenchies is a great shop, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!\r \r My son is 12 and I just could not teach him to ride a bike. Frenchie has him riding now, after only 3 1/2 hour lessons. He's a genuinely caring man, and I'm so happy we got my son's bike from him. \r \r I had my old bike fixed there as well as buying my son's Raliegh. I look forward to being a customer for years to come. more

I needed some repairs. I called and they were very helpful. I got there and they helped me immidiately. It was a pleasure. They did the work fast and new what they were doing. I picked up the bike the same day and it looked a though I just bought it. They did a great job. It's nice to find a good shop, and nice people to deal with. more

I went in there and had a repair done. They were great and did the work fast and gave me a great price. Had a lot of fun with the birds. The people working there were very heplful and a lot of fun to be around. I would go there any time I need bike work. I tell all my friends to go there too . They are the best of shops that I have seen period. more

The Best around town ! 2/24/2011

I read alot of reviews. Had to go there and see for myself. They were great people to deal with. Bought 2 bikes from them. I brought them back for normal maintance and was taken care of fast , immidiate and well. They alway seem to give more than I ask for. It is a pleaqsure to go there. I alway leave with a smile. more

WOW!!!! How Great! Finally a store that cares about it's customers. They taught me about my bike and did what I wanted in a fast and profession way. They actually put me first not them. The repair they did was great. They estimated it out before they did it and were right on the button. I didn't have to leave it there for a week, they did right away. What a pleasure!!! They cared about me first. How refreshing !!! more

Fantastic Shop, old world. Very nice employee's, helpful and knowledgable. Prices I was charged were very fair. He fixed things that no other shop would touch. There bike price ,after checking arould were the lowest arould. What a great shop to spend a little time at. Oh, by the way they did my job while I waited. No one else I went to would do that. more
