Best

This is a really cool little experience in the older side of Las Vegas. I actually drove down what was the old strip, and that was a cool experience. Saw lots of old-style hotel/m...

Worst

This is the kind of thing you do once, if you see it too many times you'll get fed up quite quickly. In the evening every half hour or so the outdoor ceiling has a video/light sho...

razzel-dazzel fremont 8/10/2002

the experience is unlike any other in the whole US of A. and thats is still the way Las Vegas should be, unique and different.the excitment of Las Vegas and the differentness of it is what draws people here, let's keep it from becoming every town,USA.everyone wants to be a winner and they still feel it in this town,,don't let the magic die!! Pros: attractions Cons: parking more

awsome light show 8/9/2002

I love this show, whenever I have guests from other states, the first place i take them in the evening is to the Fremont Street Experience. Pros: affordable, entertaining, lots of casinos Cons: not enough parking more

A place to take the family 8/9/2002

I believe this is a great place fpr adults and children alike. The light show is spectacular and there are shops to meet everyones taste. Not to mention all the great places to eat more

something for everyone 8/8/2002

Fremont street has something for everyone...shops,casinos,live entertainment, artists & craftspeople at work - not to mention the light show & the people watching!! Pros: free, lots to see & do, casual atmosphere Cons: crowded, very limited seating, closes too early more

Something for everyone 8/7/2002

If the music is not your era, wait for the next show. Never a Bad viewing position. Never someone standing in front of you causing a blocked vision. Casinos are friendly and convenient downtown. Always a party in the evening. See ALL of the show for the evening!!!!!!! more

outstanding!! 8/7/2002

Many Different Showa..quite a place to people watch..best of all ..10 feet from gaming tables when it's over. Pros: Covered, Weather Protected, Close to everything more

Creepy 7/29/2002

Well, I guess this is old Vegas alright. This part of town is really creepy and not worth the $15 cab fare each way (eventhough the buffet at the Nugget is quite good). Skip it. more

Awesome Entertainment 7/26/2002

Lots of things to do...family oriented, with lots of singles at the same time, OUTDOORS...shopping, eating, movies....what else do you need???? Pros: Outdoors, free, fun more

awesome 7/26/2002

It is fantastic!!! All ages will enjoy it. We make sure we do downtown everytime we go to vegas!!! Pros: free Cons: none more

Toss Up 7/21/2002

Its a toss up for me on this one - the Bellagio Fountains, the Bucanneer Show and Fremont are all great, but Fremont has so much to offer while you're waiting for the show to start that it tips it over the edge. Really worth the trip downtown more

Cool Light Show 6/6/2002

The only place in Vegas where you can lay down in the street and people won't think you're drunk ... necessarily. Seriously, put a blanket down, get horizontal and watch the lights. It's kinda cool, kinda like a Laserium show. The streets are blocked off and tens of thousands of bright lights form cool patterns overhead on Fremont Street. This is probably not something that you want to do more than once per trip, but it is fun. Though if you're traveling with children, then you might want to go back because kids really dig this stuff. more

Old but never forgotten 5/30/2002

This attraction was the main event in Vegas years ago and has been renovated to last through the times. The new and improved show is a must see! Unfortuantely it only happens during the evenings, but there's lots to do during the day. The street reminds me of Santa Monica's 6th St Promenade. Little unique shops here and there. One gift store will even take a picture of your face and put it on people's bodies to make you look glamourous! There's also people perfoming along the street. It's like a non-stop festival! more

Great revitalization 5/18/2002

The blocking of Fremont street to auto traffic has allowed for an even great surreal Vegas atmosphere. The light show is fun and fantastic. more
