Great Car Buying Experience 3/2/2009

I purchased a 2003 Mini Cooper S from Freeman Motor Co., and it was the best buying experience ever. They gave me and my two friends Starbucks cards, and when we returned, all the paperwork was ready to go. We had a flat tire on the way home, and Eric Freeman paid for the repairs. I'd recommend them to everyone! It was a great experience, and the indoor showroom just made it even better! Pros: Everything was great about this company. It's true!! Cons: None more

Great buying experience!!! 2/13/2009

I purchased a Porsche 911 Cabriolet from Freeman about a month ago. I have to say, it was one of the best experiences buying a car I've ever had. I hate shopping for cars and the pressure from sales people. Freeman didn't have any of that. A big plus was the huge indoor showroom. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. Pros: Great indoor showroom, Friendly sales people, No pressure Cons: Too many sweet cars to choose from! more

It was really nice not to be followed around 1/30/2009

My husband an I went there looking at a VW Passat. Dave (The sales guy) was really nice an he was never pushy. It was really nice. We called ahead to see if the car was there an Dave the sales guy got the car out for us. They had car fax already for us to look at. He was up front with us an told us that the Passat was in a accident. I think that this approach is the way car buying should always be. Thank you Freeman Motor more

A dealer you can trust through and through 1/5/2009

It's hard to find a car dealer that says what he means and means what he says. Eric Freeman and his staff and Freeman Motor are the real thing - a throwback to the days when you could go on a guy's handshake and his word. I had a complicated transaction which included shipping a car, sight unseen, to the east coast. Eric gave me his word on a few things and when I needed to ask him to step in and make something right, he did so without hesitation. The car was, and is, fantastic. I'd buy another from these guys in a heartbeat. Pros: Honest guys, genuinely want customers to be happy Cons: 3,000 miles away from me here in New York more

The guys at Freeman motors were so helpful and they were able to answer all my questions, and I had a lot! I've had so many unsatisfying experiences with other car dealerships and Freeman motors were able to change that with their prompt courtesy, being friendly, and being so informative. Right car, awesome deal, great place 8/2/2008

I bought a gently used car with low miles from Freeman recently. I had shopped around a lot both at other dealerships (where a lot of my time was wasted) and online, and knew exactly what I needed to pay for this car. My experience couldn't have been easier and more low-key. I found it online listed at Freeman and went over to test drive it. I really only made a half-hearted attempt to bargain the price down, as the first price given was an awesome deal and I knew it. I dealt with one person only--Marshall--and was so happy to see that we didn't have to play the usual dealer games of back and forth, talking to three managers, wearing the customer down, etc. My husband and I would go back in a heartbeat to shop again, but we have such a great car, it'll be awhile! more

Drove like a Dream! 7/25/2008

I needed a car fast but I didn't want the hassle that goes with the typical process. I stopped into Freeman on recommendation from a friend and felt immediately at ease. There was a nice selection but not so many I felt overwhlemed. The prices were so good it was actually FUN to shop! The salesman was chill and let me take my time. I didn't know much about Saabs but he provided good information -- to my surprise I was more pleased in the following days--the car drives like a DREAM!! Now I love SAABS!! :) Pros: layed back, no pressure; quick process once I picked out my car; awesome prices; SAABS! Cons: ?? more

"When I first decided to purchase a Mercedes SL500, I made a careful study of all cars in the Oregon/Washington areas reviewing Craig's List, local newspapers and dealer websites. By far Freeman Motor Company had the best value for my money. All comparable SL500s for sale in the area were $3000 more than the price I paid and had at least 30,000 more miles on the odometer. The car I purhcased from Freeman Motors is a low mileage, well cared for Mercedes and I don't think I could have found a nicer one, particularly for the price I paid." - Jesse B. Do you homework and be an intelligent car buyer 6/11/2008

I have visited both Freeman locations several times over the past couple of years. I do appreciate that Freeman lets you shop without high pressure salesman bugging you while your looking but I have also come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for and Freeman is not in the market of selling top quality cars. I test drove several cars for sale at Freeman that needed significant work to be up to what I consider to be acceptable quality. Sure they have good prices but do you really want to skimp when buying a high priced luxury car? Do yourself a favor and have a professional inspection done prior to buying your car if you're considering Freeman...it's just common sense in my book. I have called several mechanics around town and the going rate for a decent inspection seems to be about $150. Seems like cheap insurance to me!! Make sure to hire an inspector that checks the cars mechanics and the cars frame to make sure the car was not involved in a prior accident. I have been warned that you can't trust Carfax reports to be 100% accurate so it's best to have the frame inspected in addition to the mechanics. Just my two cents.... Pros: They let you shop without the high pressure and they have a large selection Cons: Quality is Poor more

I recently purchased a 2000 Volvo V70 SE from Freeman Motors and had another great experience. This is the second car that I have purchased from them. They sell high quality European cars at wholesale prices. The entire experience is very informal and relaxed and I was very satisfied with the car and the deal. Well worth my 4 hour round trip to find a great car!! Keep up the great work!! more

I purchased an Audi A4 from Freeman Motor Company in March 2007 from the Bend location. My car is beautiful and I got an excellent deal on it. I love this car. It is in excellent condition and has low miles. I had the car checked out pre-sale by an Audi mechanic who gave the car rave reviews. I could not have gotten a better deal anywhere else. Even private owners were asking higher prices for the same car. The staff were very professional, friendly, and honest. They did not pressure me in any way, and were patient with me throughout the entire loan process. I would recommend Freeman Motor company to any of my family or friends. Pros: Indoor showroom more

Quick and Easy 4/1/2008

I have always been impressed with the selection of gently used high quality cars that Freeman has to offer, but what was unexpected was the ease of the transaction. I have purchased many cars before and dread the long wait and the haggling. At Freeman Motor Company I had my 4 year old daughter with me and wasn't sure that she could withstand a drawn out process, but the staff had us in and out in less than an hour. more

Nice vehicle, very good buying experience 3/27/2008

I had never purchased from Freeman Motor Company before but found the exact vehicle (2003 BMW 325iT) I wanted with low miles on their website. The whole experience was low key, easy and straightforward. Pricing was excellent, advice on mechanics and pre-purchase inspection was helpful, and the salesperson was simply a nice young guy who loved cars. I've had the car for about 2 months and couldn't be more pleased. The next time I'm in the market for a gently used luxury car, I'll go right back to Freeman. And I'll refer friends and colleagues to them as well. I think the comments of buyers who keep coming back to Freeman speak volumes. Best car buying experience I have ever had 3/11/2008

When purchasing a car you look for 3 things: the right car, at the right price, from the right dealer. Freeman Motors earns 5 stars in each of these categories. I was quite impressed by their selection and prices on used European luxury vehicles. Eric and Marshall are champs. In the short time since purchasing my car from them, I have referred several people and they too were impressed.
