Illinois residents need to venture over the border and try this Hammond, IN landmark. Rustic, cozy restaurant with good service and wonderful steak and seafood. Warm bread loaf, honey butter, roasted garlic, relish tray, salad, soup and choice of potato (gotta try the cheesy bacon potato) come with each meal. Come hungry!!!!! The steaks are tender and juicy and the evening I was there they had a prime rib special that appeared to be a big hit. The table of 4 next to us all had the prime rib and they said it was the best they ever had. We drove from Orland Park, IL and it was worth the trip. The singer they had in their lounge was very good! If you think Jack Gibbons is good, then you gotta try this place! You won't regret it.
