Great work on high end rugs. 7/12/2016

Well there's not a lot of people who are equipped to clean oriental rugs that are completely wool and very expensive. They did no damage to them at all, they came back looking very well they did great job on everything. I have used them twice now, and they are the only place i have gone to to clean those rugs since I have lived in Nashville. more

Good result for a fair price! 7/11/2016

I went to Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery to have a number of antique carpets cleaned. There are very few businesses who clean oriental carpets but Fred is a person who I heard is a specialist. There was six or seven carpets I needed cleaned, all at least 100 years old. They had to hand wash all of them and I have to say that they did a really good job. The carpets all look very well now that they have been cleaned. The price that they offered was fair and all of the staff were really accommodating and helpful. more

They did a great job 7/5/2016

We had the guys from Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery come out and pick up our rugs for cleaning and they did a great job. Some of the rugs had some spots that we did not think they would be able to get out, but they were able to lift the stains and we were very happy with the results. Our rugs look like new and we really could not be happier. We would definitely recommend them to anyone. more

They did a fantastic job cleaning and repairing our handwoven and dyed rug 6/8/2016

We were very happy with the service from Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery. It was a very expensive handwoven rug they picked up, and we had been afraid to send it anywhere. They picked up the rug when they said they would, and they dropped it off when they said they would. They were very helpful and accommodating, keeping us updated with what was going on. We were very happy with the repair to fix the fringe, and the rug came out nice and clean. We will most definitely use them again. more

Victim of Rug Extortion 5/26/2016

Since I had a fair experience with Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery the first time; I decided to use them again a second time around. Well, I dropped my rug off to be cleaned and I was quoted a specific price and I was told to come back within a week's time. I picked up the rug and their staff member at that time told me that I would be charged and additional $15 dollars! I paid it to get my rug back, however, I felt like the practice was unethical. Once someone's quotes you a price and the agreement is set - then a deal is a deal! After this last experience with the company I promised to never return back there again. I would not recommend using Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery. more

It was okay 3/31/2016

I had a small rug done by Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery. There was a little bit of an issue with the callback. They forgot the pad so they had to bring it back. The rug was misshapen a little bit after the cleaning. I wasn't extremely happy with their service. more

Pretty good 3/28/2016

I had a fairly good experience with Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery. When they re-delivered my rugs, the size of the car utilized was not adequate. It took two people and they only had one person so I had to help them get the rugs out. I think they should have sent two people out. more

Time Management is fine - they arrived on time to pick up my area rugs and they also delivered them on time as expected. I am very pleased with how clean and nice my area rugs looks. However, when I was asking about their prices I was given inconsistent quotes by two different employees. They were prompt for the pick up and delivery of my area rugs. They look fine. I think they can improve on their customer service. more

A Badly Run Company. 5/28/2015

I have had two transactions with Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners & Oriental Rug Gallery. The first time I brought a carpet to them, I got it from a garage sale and it had an enormous spot on it. They cleaned the carpet, but when they returned it to me it still had the same spot! It was an okay clean overall though, and I took care of the spot with a little bit of stain remover. In short, it wasn't the most thorough clean but the encounter didn't necessarily merit as bad of numbers as I have given them. Our second encounter was when they earned their ones and twos. I brought in a runner from my front entryway and they quoted me a price. I agreed to the price, but when I came back to pick it up, the cost was much higher. They made some sort of mistake when giving me a quote. They didn't handle the follow up very well. The owner of the company actually contacted me and told me that (as a repeat customer) I should have already known that the price was too low. Being told that I should have known was not what I wanted to hear. They might be able to clean carpets fairly well, but the company is badly run. more

The prices were reasonable and I will definitely be using them again when I want my rugs cleaned. more

Fred Remmers Rug Cleaners provides outstanding service with great results. They cleaned three rugs for me. Thety were very responsive, told me exactly what the turnaround time would be, and their pricing was reasonable. The way they packaged the rugs was absolutely perfect. This was my first time using them, and I would absolutely use them again. more
