Over Priced, Dated Techniques and Questionable Business 5/10/2012

Everyone has a different version of ""high end"" and just because you glue some shells to a frame and charge a lot for it doesn't make it high end. The techniques are very dated and look like something out of the 1980's. People use your own barometer of what you like and what is in good taste and not Fred Reed's inability to keep up with high end art. Don't get suckered into paying for poor taste just because it has a high price tag. Freed Reed was purchased by a new owner in 1987 and that seems about right it hasn't been updated since. Don't waste your cash. more

Pricey but good 11/22/2011

my mother was good friends with Fred Reed himself, and although this management bought the business when he retired, I have been happy with their work. They are more expensive for regular framing - I take things here when they need restoration or cleaning or special attention. If you just want a regular frame, this isn't the place, but I trust them with fine art reframing. more

I thoroughly urge you to take your business elsewhere. This is more or less a sweatshop that cranks out ""high end"" frames sold at ghastly prices. Please note the only positive review comes straight from the horse's mouth. more

Poor quality framing 10/18/2009

Working at ADAC we will never go back, Brooks & Black is much superior. Pros: Are none Cons: Over Priced Poor Craftmanship more
