Best Mechanic in Cary hands down! We were heading out of town when the check engine light on our van came on. Not wanting to break down on our trip we stopped by Frantz Automotive to see if they could check it out for us. The stopped what they were doing, checked out our problem, took the time to explain what sensor was failing and why, and fixed the problem. They could have charged us extra for an emergency repair but they didn't. They smiled and said, ""that's what we're here for"". \r \r They have our business for life!!! Thanks Don and Lisa! more

I have been coming to this shop for eight or ten years now, for a total of three different vehicles. Once in a while I have tried to use a place closer to work because of work schedule, but nobody else is anywhere NEAR as competent and honest. Nobody but Frantz ever told me that some expensive repairs were NOT needed. I trust them, and they have done great for me (and my boyfriend and several of our friends) for a very long time now, with many kinds of vehicles. They use common sense and get the job done. Nobody's perefect (maybe not even them) but I appreciate their values, their work, and the way they treat their customers. I am a New Yorker and moved to the area about 2.5 years ago. I had a LandRover Discovery and I needed an exhaust manifold. Not only did it come out to be cheaper thank I expected, the service was EXCEPTIONAL! Don assisted me with my car as well and everyone there was very informative and understanding. I have a Lexus now and it needed some other work done. After they fixed the car, it ran like a babee! I didn't have any additional trouble! They are always friendly, professional and honest! I had to have an engine put in and these guys were so friendly, helpful and know a car better than anyone i have dealt with. They were always there when i needed help or had questions about either their work or anything automotive in general. Don did a great job on my jeep. I needed a 60,000 mile checkup and Frantz got me in and out in record timing. Plus, those guys over at Frantz have some serious respect for #3. That right there should be enough to get you there. more
