An absolutely outstanding job done by Northstar Granite installing my new granite countertops. They arrived on time, were friendly and efficient. The countertops are absolutely gorgeous. It was a Saturday morning when I broke the main valve on my shower. We had to cut the water off to the house to avoid a flood. I called Franklin D Plumbing and Gas who dispatched Scotty. Scotty arrived in a fairly timely manner but I was charged $939.00 for an hour and a half's work and I had to supply the parts. I'm sorry but $636.00 an hour is too much to pay for a plumber. more

I've used Franklin D for my personal plumbing needs for 5 years. We recently needed some work done in our office and I recommended them after our normal plumber didn't show up for 3 days...I wish I hadn't. They didn't show up the first day, and when they finally did, the plumber when AWOL in our building...I'm still not sure what he was doing...finally he left and someone called saying he would be back the next day to finish the drained sink. the next day, he did return and made a huge mess on our carpet. It took over 4 days for them to send someone out to clean it, and every call I made to their office in that time span was treated very rudely by the dispatch lady. It was very embarassing to have recommended them so highly to my employer only to have this happen. more
