As with every restaurant, the service greatly depends on who serves you. The service was what I expected, nothing special, but nothing wrong with it. The food however, was not what I expected. For starters, where I come from most restaurants that style themselves as chop houses are usually in the class of fine dining. This is not so with Franklin Chop House. The floors aren't even finished, just painted concrete, the decor is nothing resembling fine dining. The prices are a little bit higher than expected for a place with concrete floors, although nothing to complain about. The food isn?t terrible, the taste is just above home cooking. What I mean by this is if I bought a steak, took it out of the package, and threw it on the grill with no prior cooking experience. There is no evident seasoning that is used, maybe butter, or olive oil. This, along with the atmosphere, creates an experience that I could have for under eight dollars at home in my garage. In my opinion, don?t waste your time here unless you are in to trying every restaurant in the area just to see what it is like. Truly a disappointment.
Pros: sadly to say, none that I can think of
Cons: low quality food for the price, does not compare to other steak houses in its price range, bad atmosphere
