I call Frank Gay Plumbing out of Orlando for a estimate to renovate an older home. While there, I scheduled a serve check on the AC system. They arrived promptly which is where the ""service"" really stopped. For $112 they charge you get a diagnostic only - no service. After 10 minutes and only checking the pressure on the system they arrived at 7 maintenance items totaling over $1100. Fortunately I have worked on HVAC systems in the past and saw most as ways to extract $$ from the customer. I did pay for $350 for truly needed items and things I did not have tools for but I was truly disappointed in their service. Of course none of the diagnostic fee applied towards this total. Needless to say I dodged a bullet on their plumbing. Lastly, they need to have more professional technicians - the technician they sent actually had his tools in a shaving kit and spoke only broken English. My advice - call someone else. more

I had my AC replaced 3 years ago by another company. Took them a year to get it working right, then broke again 2 months ago. Called the other company back, they put in 6lbs of freon and said ""It's not leaking""... Ouch. 2 months later, empty again. Called Frank Gay, came out within hours. Did a complete system check, found and fixed a few installation problems, replaced my Evap coil under warranty, gassed me up. GTG!!! finally sleeping well after 3 years of wondering if the AC was going to make it thru the night!!. The Tech actually pulled out a freon detector and found my leak! Cold Hard evidence of what was broken was a nice change of pace over the ""well your system has pin holes somewhere, I think I fixed it"". I was using the other company thinking they were cheaper, not so.. The guys at Frank Gay really do their best to work out the expense with you. Folks really if you need that piece of mind that comes with having your system serviced by a PROFESSIONAL it's time to call Frank Gay. Thanx guys!!\r more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We called Frank Gay for a plumbing leak after another company couldn't find the leak... this guy found it in 5 minutes. The price was very reasonable. When our A/C broke down we called them again. And again, they did an amazing job. You don't feel like you're getting ripped off like with so many other companies. Their prices are very fair. The techs are friendly and professional. They are definitely our go to for anything plumbing or A/C. Love them. more

The Best Septic Tank Pumping and Drainfield Installation service company in Orlando. I called to have a plumber come look at my septic system. My drain-field was not working properly. The plumbers said that the solids from my tank were not dissolving properly and caused the solids from the septic tank to seep through to my drain field. The plumbers said that caused my drain field to clog up and the black water could not get in the ground due to the drainfield being blocked. The plumber was able to repair the drain field without having to install a new one, which was music to my ears. The plumber from Frank Gay Septic Service was unbelievable! Thank you for getting my septic tank and drainfield up and running. I will refer your plumbers to anyone I know that needs help. Thank again! more

The best Septic Service in Orlando, and the cheapest. I had a plumber come out to repair my drainfield which got clogged from the solids in my septic tank. First the plumbers pumped my septic tank then were able to repair my drain field, which saved me tons of money. Most septic service companies will tell you that you need a whole new drainfield installation, because they won't to hit you up for a big bill and are not interested in repeat business. Frank Gay personally told me that his plumbing and septic service company is always honest with their customers, in hopes that they will call again if they have another plumbing or septic tank issue in the future. Well his business plan works, because I will only use Frank Gay Plumbing and Septic in the future. I am telling all my friends and family to do the same when they have a plumbing problem. Domestic / Solar Water Heating System for Dumbies 9/16/2011

The most wonderful plumbers came to my house last friday to install my solar water heater system and solar panels on my front roof. I will now receive money back from the power company and a $3500 tax rebate for installing a solar water heating system at my house. The government is trying to encourage people to go solar so we are less dependent on oil. That's why you get such a great rebate. The plumber was wonderful, and very polite. If you want to buy any solar water heating cost is very reasonable at Frank Gay Services. They are your go to plumbing company if you live in the local Orlando / Longwood area. more
