To all you parents out there whose children want to get into modeling but don't know where to start, I suggest you start by doing a photo shoot with MyBaldPhotographer(Frank Donnino). Not only did he boost my daughters self esteem but has made her shine which helped her be who she is without having to try to be somebody. When we first met with Frank, my daughter was a bit shy because she didn't know him, but after a few shoots into the session she got much more comfortable and did exactly what he wanted her to do for the photo shoot. I won't have anyone else take professional pictures of my daughter except Frank. Frank you are honestly and truely the best child photographer out there. Thank you for everything you have done. My experience with Frank was an exceptional one. I have heard of Frank Donnino for many years and have even received those inserts you get after having a baby. And, although I’ve “thought” of giving him a try, just surpassed it. But when the offer to do a free photo shoot for my son came up, I couldn’t resist. I thought “what can I lose”! As a mother of an overactive 6 year old, I was overwhelmed with anxiety, thinking the photo shoot would be a disaster, since you would need a lot of patience and time, which my son lacked. But I can’t even explain how OVER satisfied I was with the patience and involvement Frank had with my son. Even times I got a little frustrated with my son, Frank found ways to work with my son and still let my son’s personality show through the photos. And, the one thing I exceptionally liked with Frank was his passion for what he does. I was so excited when the photos were available to see and he even worked out a payment plan. I will say the packages are a bit high, but don’t let that scare you. And, as a single mother, I thought there’s no way I can afford these and I was going to pass on the opportunity of taking one of the packages, and just settle for the 1 free one. I just finished my last payment and should be receiving the pictures any day now. I’ve read reviews regarding Frank and his business that may have turned me a little uneasy. But do a little research and understand what you are getting into. If I didn’t do my research, I would probably feel the same as those who had negative feelings towards Frank. I recommend Frank for anyone, and I look forward to working with him again. more

Frank, the pictures you took are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Your passion and talent is evident in each of the photographs. You captured such incredible images of Joseph and Nicholas' personalities.  Thank you for the opportunity to photograph the boys. Your playful approach made it enjoyable and fun for all of us. You were able to keep the attention of a 3 and 4 year old. Some of your best shots were just catching them in the middle of playing! You have a great eye in seeing the magic that can appear in a simple natural backround and just the right expression on the persons face. We love all the pictures. My 10 year old daughter loved the experience as much as I did and even more. Mr. Donnino is a very good photographer and do magic with anyone, experienced or not. The outside decor was simple and he made it look like paradise. He knows how to get out the best of every personality within any subject under his lens. Creative and full of imagination makes any of his portraits different from anywhere or anyone else. If I have any needs in the future, his the one and only that I will consider to hire, because of his own good sense of judgement to seize the perfect moment every time and his professionalism, whether with parents or subjects. His funny side makes any subject at ease and relaxed, and mostly confident on them self, which is essential in that line of work. I think that all that is probably the key of his magic with any single picture. You don't have to take my word for it! I have not been in the camera for a long time and was not very comfortable to do a photo session but really needed a photo for my website. Frank not only made me feel at ease but somehow was able to capture me in a unique way while making me feel beautiful through the shoot. We'd like to thank Mr. Frank for taking all the wonderful pictures of our daughter, Jasiel. It was so enjoyable and he's so great with children. He brought out something in Jasiel that I didn't know she had in her, it was the love of nature. Before this, I couldn't get her to even sit in the grass, but just the thought of having her photos taken made her overcome her fear of the creepy crawlies in the grass. Her photos were absolutely stunning. Mr. Frank knew exactly what time of day to take the pictures so that the light caught her hair and face at the perfect angle. I thought my little girl was an angel prior to the photo shoot, but seeing the photos re-emphasized the fact that she's one of God's perfect creations, just as all children are. Okay, I do wish to thank Mr. Donnino for all the time he has taken to make this a memorable event for Keon and our family. The photos that were taken along with the videos were absolutely phenomenal. Frank Donnino is amazing! He recently photographed my daughters sweet 16 Birthday party. The theme of the party was the roaring 20's. Clothing, music, food and venue all were tuned to match that period in time. It was FUN!!!! Frank did the research, learned the location, and captured so many wonderful moments. From exquisite portraits, to very special candid moments, it was all done with perfection. The photos are stunning, and he made a beautiful video montage of the photos and some video clips that was so stunning. A wonderful way to remember this day for years to come. I would like to start out on a positive by stating that the photos taken by Mr. Donnino are very nice and that he works very well with children. However I DO NOT AGREE with how he runs his studio. First he advertises that he is updating his portfolio and needs child models. I return you will receive a picture for your child's comp card and $100 towards any photo packages. When you get there he won't discuss price with you and when you recieve your photos on line there is a time clock that gives you less than 2 days to order your photos or they will be DELEATED! While the time clock is pressuring you to impulse buy you only have an option of 3 packages the cheapest being 4 photos for $200. You are not allowed to purchase 1 or 2 photos. If you decide to forgo the packages and choose your 1 free photo all you get is an image that you can't print out because he makes the resolution so low on purpose that all you can do is use it on facebook!! In turn if he didn't pressure you into buying a package which he states that things can happen to digital photos so to insure their safety you should pay right away!! His intimidation tactics are horrible and he still gets to use your child's images in his portfolio. Beware of his facebook add for models.. All in all A- for photos F for customer service more

I am not going to comment on what I personally think about Mr Donnino's work but I find his streaming audio clips bashing other photographers very distasteful. Although he doesn't name any particular photographers ( I am sure that he is afraid of a lawsuit and rightfully so) I find his attempt to slander other photographers in general without naming names tacky. Why not let the work speak for itself? In life when people resort to putting other people down it is usually to mask their own feelings of inadequacy. more

I'm not sure that there's anything special about this photographer. Sure, the portraits that he took of me and my family came out great, but I'd like to think the subjects had something to do with that. We ended up purchasing some prints and framed portraits, but only because we already paid the sitting fee and we liked our proofs. His prices are WAY high. If I had to do over, I would have gone with another photographer. more
