I have had color, cuts and highlights several times from Marta. I have found her to be courteous, professional, and creative. I've been consistently thrilled with the results and would highly recommend her to everyone. The overall atmosphere of the salon is welcoming, and the staff friendly. KP Pros: good parking more

Excellent service 10/22/2005

I have been going to this salon for a year and getting my hair done by Renee. There are no words to describe what Renee can do with her clients hair. She is just too good. I have always left this salon feeling beautiful. Every cut and style she has done for me has been out of this world. I have taken my friends there too to get their hair cut with Renee and they loved what she did with their hair. The staff at FrancesRay Jules are friendly and great. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel great even if it is just for a day. Pros: friendly staff, exceptional stylists more

I was disturbed to read the below review, I have had nothing but great experiences at FrancesRay Jules, past present & future. If im going in for a cut & color or to discuss updos & makeup for my wedding next spring, the staff is always friendly and considerate of what kind of day Im having, and they always try to cheer me up when im having a bad day, and make my good days even better. There service is top quality and the prices are very reasonable. I cant see anyone having a bad time at FrancesRay Jules Salon. Pros: free parking, great staff, fun & friendly more

If you like snotty people and sky high prices this is the place for you. With a horrible location the hairstlyes are just as bad. The staff is unprofessional, rude and unskilled as if they've had no experience whatsoever. My stylist destroyed my beautiful color and he still said I looked fabulous. He acted like he was better than anyone else and gossiped about customers the whole time I was in the chair. I've never felt so unwelcome in a salon before, I would rather throw my money in the trash than get another cut here!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! Cons: parking, RUDE staff more

Just as great as the Boston location 6/17/2005

I go to both locations, Boston & now Somerville!!! I love the Somerville location, free parking, great staff and awsome atmosphere!!! I will definatley continue coming here, Marta gives me just what I want, for a price you cant beat. Pros: Free Parking, Great Prices, Open till 9pm more
