Foxcroft Village

I lived in Foxcroft for 7 years. And have been through hell and back with that place. Management was always iffy. Things were always broken, and everybodys business was out and about. The same people caused a bunch of trouble, and thought they 'owned' the park. Instead of Floridians come up anymore, it's the Russians instead. :DD It used to be a good place, but can it be good once again? Last time i was there it looked like most people moved out.. Oh and the website was the complete opposite of what it was like. Although I dislike it, it is sadly the best trailer park in sullivan. more

I have been living at Foxcroft for 4 years now. It is a nice community very close together everybody knows each other. When the manager is not around the park crew always seem to turn off the water always. Another problem is some of the manager they always seems to lose something important like a deed or something. 3rd of all some of the children their abuse other children, but most of the kids are great but some smoke so beware if you have children. Overall though the school district is one of te best in New York,I love my kids going to Tri- Valley. But this place is ok to me. I rate Foxcroft a 3. I have lived in this manufactured home park in two different sites for over three years. I have been through the worst of management and now I am happy to say, the park is on the rise. We now have a manager that is diligent about creating a better life for our families. We are getting another pool, and have had a garden club this year. There are still major issues, but unlike before these issues are being addressed on a daily basis. All the staff at Foxcroft are now committed to there jobs, and the residents. The water quality has improved 110%. I would like to see more changes to come, and confident that Foxcroft Village is in fact one of the best mobile home parks in the North East. If you are looking for an affordable place to live, and raise your children in an outstanding school district see Management for a tour of the new model, and come be my neighbor. First I would like to say that maryjaneweed75 {the name in itself should say it all} in my opinion is wrong I have been living here almost two years and have never had a problem with other residents or personnel of the park. I have found them both very friendly and helpful on more than one occasion. Foxcroft does not except HUD! However, awhile back they would advertise that you could ""rent to own"" well another words a nice way of saying pay rent but what ever is broken, stolen, or run down is your responsibilty! The staff are thieves, the security encourages unruly chidren and thievery and the elderly have been forced from a park they have loved for so long. The owner of this park has no intrest but to sit and collect! This place is a sad example of a ""manufactured home community"" there is NO community there just poor people NOT making it. Sadly this place is a dumping ground for the poor! As for the home owner association that man collects dues FOR NOTHING its a scam- he might as well join in with the staff of the park! The town of Fallsburg and county government should step up to the plate and do something about the legal irregularities going on within this corporation---the owner is laying on a beach in Florida while the park renters can barely afford electric, propane, and oil. God be with them and persecute The owner and staff of FOXCROFT it is not a ""Shan-gra-la of the Catskills"" ANY LONGER!!!!!!!!!! Cons: Not even worth the trip to see for yourself! I'ts a disgrace!! Not a very good place to live. A lot of H.U.D live here. This place is falling apart. Please look for another mobile home community if you can. You will be a lot happier if you do. Cons: H.U.D residents Roads are in poor shape, very old park more
