Fox Meadow Apartments & Townhomes

The townhomes are nice and it comes with a washer & washer. however, the community is getting like camden alike. A lot of thugs are moving in and i dont like it. If you are getting an appartment or townhome, make sure you check out the area first to make sure you like the people around you. Also make sure you lock your car as i got my car broken into before. more

I have lived in Fox Meadows for about 20 months. The office management have been very good to me and the maintenance people respond very quickly to any urgent problem I have had. (I live in a townhouse) The grounds are kept nice and anytime my son locks himself out (which seems to be often) they are always nice to him and open up the place for him. I have no complaints. I would recommend Fox Meadows to anyone. Also, my older son just got his own place here and they could not have been anymore helpful and nice to him. I told them he was coming to apply for a 1 bedroom apartment and they helped him out right away. (I agree with the person below my review as well) more

Why is it that people only focus on the negative in these reviews? I have never had a problem with anyone at Fox Meadows. When I needed an exterminator for the ladybug issue I had.. He came out that same week! Any request that I had, the management team has done their best to fulfill. The fitness center is an additional cost, but the registration fee is waved, and we have a reduced rate.. just for living in the complex! The grounds are kept up nicely. My sister has lived there for 4 years, and her water heater broke about 6 months ago... not only did they have an emergency maintenance man on call, that came out right away.. but, he stayed until the problem was corrected, and they replaced her carpet in her apartment because it had gotten ruined by the water! The management team also followed up with a visit(not a phone call.. a visit) just to make sure that everything was ok, and none of their stuff was ruined! The laundry facilities are NOT far away. This place is a dump! The apartments are falling apart, they're infested with cockroaches and all kinds of bugs. They segregate the residents (eg "mexicans" in back,etc) They are completely racist and don't care about the residents once you move in. And good luck getting any maintenance stuff done. more

This place is a complete dump. Folks at work from Lockheed Martin calls this Fox Ghetto, and now I know they have good reason. When I first moved in the rain flooded into my room causing extensive damage. Fox Ghetto refused to take THREE MONTHS to fix it. in the meantime my bedroom was getting soaked month after month. I was 2 days late on payments because I was taking finals and they slapped me with a $50 late fee which is ok, but then they insisted on a Money Order or Cashier Check which is rediculous.\r \r The clown below me Laurie must work for them. Nothing can be further from the truth. Fitness center you have to pay for just like you would any other Gym. Laundry Facilities is a good walking distance away and it's $1.75 to wash and $1 to dry and you need to pay $15 for a laundry card. Car Wash has never been available. very big apartment complex, more like a community. they have many ammenities including a fitness center with paid membership. laundry facilities are well kept but you may find yourself taking a long walk to get to them. a car wash is available and they have a golf center also.\r there is plenty of parking for guests and you get your mail at your door. you dont have to walk to a common mailbox. We lived in these apartments a few years back, and I'm not sure i would go back and live here again. I was over a few weeks ago visiting a friend. She was complaining how her ceiling leaks whenever the rain fall. She had been complaining about it for amonth and the maintenance guy had only been out once. He said he patched the roof and there was nothing else he could do. She is at the point of breaking her lease. So i went with her to the office to talk to the property manager, who was very nice and explained she would be out to handle the problem. She called me a few days ago and told me that contractors are coming next week to put a new roof on. That was one problem solved, but she tells me their has been a recent history of auto vandalism, and some muggings. The people are extremely nice here, so I'm hoping those are isolated incidents. If your interested, go there, get a tour, and them drive around the complex and stop people and ask them how they like it. It's the smart more

Fox Meadow is a good apartment complex. The rent is reasonable and the grounds are spacious. The complex pool is very large and never over crowded. The office runs contests and events for the children and tenants. On the downside, the 2nd bedroom of a 2 bedroom apartment is extremely small. Really only good as a nursery. The maintenance response time is very good. I would recommend Fox Meadow for a single person or a new family. more
