Shane Ingram, the chef at 4 Square, is wonderful - a food genius. Every meal is a creative exercise, with unusual pairings and fresh ingredients. The service is excellent, and the same staff seem to be there year after year (a good sign). I've eaten their dozens of times, mainly for special family events, and while some of Shane's culinary experiments don't work as well as others, the failures are still interesting. As with Magnolia Grill's Ben Barker, Shane is ""not afraid of flavor"". Reasonable wine list, standard prices. Nice, quiet atmosphere.
