Best

Four Peaks has some good seasonal beers and their regular brews are pretty good too. The real draw though is the awesome atmosphere, it's a fun place to hang out and the waitress...

Great Micro Brewery Four Peaks Tempe 4/18/2014

Anita4718 Provided by Partner
On a bike ride to Tempe Town Lake we decided to stop for lunch in Tempe at Four Peaks. We had heard so much talk about their Kilt Lifter Brew an... more

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/25/2013

The place provides awesome food. It's a noisy place but if you want good food, this is one of the places. The food is a bit on the expensive side. The staff is courteous. more

The place is still a lot of fun but was 2/28/2012

The place is still a lot of fun but was better back when I was in college and could walk home after 2 of their high-octane brews. more

Tempe's Jewel (If you go to one restaurant, go here) 1/6/2011

Tempe's best bar. Even being a Vikings bar on sundays, it still gets 5 stars. The beers are all fantastic, from peach ale to the oak-aged hop knot. Fish and chips are top notch, also love the southwest eggrolls. Great character in the building, nice patio, big bar. more

Great Beer and Excellent Food 4/28/2010

I have been going to four peaks since I turned 21.. 2 years ago, I love this place. I always take people who came from out of town here and I have never had anyone say they didn't like it. Pros: Best Hef in AZ Cons: Resturant Can get Very Busy more

Great Burgers 3/11/2010

I love this place especially the blue light burger, the best burger in Tempe, AZ bar none. I recomend this place if you out of town visitors, there is something on the menu for everyone! Pros: Best Buger in Tempe, AZ more

Great beer, great food! 1/19/2008

Four Peaks popularity is based on their beer, which is world class. The Hefeweisen is among the best I have ever tasted, and the oatmeal stout is unbeatable, smooth and slightly chocolatey. Ther is nothing better on a warm summer evening than kicking back with a cool hefe. Don't miss out the food, though. The beer bread sandwiches are excellent, and big enough for 2 meals. I have never had a bad meal at the Peaks. For a treat, go there in the morning some time and check out their brunch menu, with breakfast enchiladas (surprisingly delicious) and beer bread breakfast sandwiches, with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Service is usually very good. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on busy nights, but Four Peaks is well worth it! more

Sets the standard for Hefeweizen in Arizona 10/25/2007

This our favorite place to eat, bar none. Most often we share a pitcher of ""Hefe"" and order a Chicken beer bread or the Arizona Chicken Rolls. If ordering the former, ask for a side of the sweet jalepeno sauce for dipping your fries. The delicious sauce comes standard with the chicken rolls. Other outstanding dishes include the mediterranean pizza which has a delicious blend of chicken, spinach, ricotta cheese and pine nuts. (the sweet jalepeno goes great with this too.) The only dish I've not enjoyed was the tenderloin sandwich, but probably because I'm not a huge fan of blue cheese We've tried the Hefeweizen @ at least 1/2 dozen other locations and nothing compares. . Now, if only they'd bring a location to Fountain Hills. : )\r \r Pros: Hefeweizen, service, outdoor seating, excellent menu Cons: Not much parking, but the walk isn't too bad. more

Not your ordinary ""Bar Food"" 7/25/2007

I love four peaks because their food is surprisingly good. service is usually pretty good too. In the winter you should arrive during off peak times because you don't want to get stuck sitting outside. I know, they have the heaters, but if you're a girl, hey you get colder than your guy friends so make them seat you inside! Specials are great, someitmes they are out of the specials though. Pros: Good food, fast service, and the inside is non-smoking Cons: Sometimes you have to park down the street. Cold outside in winter. more

Great hang out with friends 7/5/2007

This place has awesome food! I love the staff and I always feel welcome. It is a great place to go with a big group of friends. I love the beer too!!!! more

My favorite place for a night out! 11/18/2006

Four Peaks is the best! The atmosphere is always great - a mixed crowd of college kids, twenty-somethings and even those older and wiser. The food is wonderful - try the Arizona Chicken Roll appetizer with the unique, spicy Sweet Jalapeno dressing. Of course, the whole reason to go is the beer - they are all great, whatever your taste, from the classic Kiltlifter to the ""girly"" Peach Ale to the dark, complex Oatmeal Stout. Their happy hour specials are a great deal, and it's especially cool that they have a reverse happy hour from 10:00 pm - close. Pros: Beer, Ambiance, Service Cons: Parking is a little tight, but I've never failed to find a spot. more

Great Ales & Pizza 11/13/2006

What's better than beer & pizza? This is the place to go in Tempe! A mixed clientel of older and younger; some there to eat, most to savor the ale. The Heffeweizen is to die for! No need for a lemon or orange in this one....even some yeast left in the bottom of the glass!\r IPA is good and the Pumpkin Porter for this time of year is reminiscent of pumpkin pie and coffee!!!!\r Can't speak for the rest of the menu but the pizza is one of the better ones in the area; what I did see on other peoples plates looked great! Pros: Big place, don't feel crowded Cons: I suppose the parking but it's worth the walk more

Great place for Brunch! 11/3/2006

We all enjoyed Four Peaks brunch menu - from enchilada and eggs to waffles to eggs benedict and beyond. the food was good, the conversation lively, and the company devine. oh, and the beer was great! one word- YUMMY! Pros: YUMMY food! more

good burgers, good local beers 10/26/2006

very relaxed nighborhood brewery. opt to sit outside. i believe they use the run off spring water from the four peak mts to make their beers. the burgers are good here more

Best Beer! Great Food 6/12/2006

Four Peaks North Scottsdale Location is just as good as Tempe. The atmosphere is a little more upscale but still relaxed and inviting. The beer is as good as it gets and the food and service are great! A great place to hang out with friends and family! Kid friendly too! Pros: Food, service, ambience Cons: Smoking after 10pm...cough more

diamond in the rough 8/10/2005

This may not be a great place to pick up a new date, but a fantastic place to bring an out of towner, group of friends, or significant other. The atmosphere is excellent, the beer outstanding... I cant say enough about my experience there. And it was inexpensive. 3 entrees, a beer sampler, and enough beer for 3 serious beer drinkers for 5 hours = $60.00. Pros: service , cost, excellent beer Cons: no air conditioning, no parking more

Avoid in the summer, live there in the winter 7/7/2005

A really cool brewpub but no air conditioning so avoid it in the summer. I love the patio in the winter though. Good food and good beer. Wait staff is young and pretty but not very knowlegable usually and usually too busy to be friendly. The burgers are to die for. Pros: atmosphere, good beer, good food Cons: Hot in the summer, lots of college kids more

Where it's at! 10/16/2004

I've lived in the Phoenix valley for 7 1/2 years. My favorite spot when I first moved was Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe. Today, it remains Four Peaks. The combination of the beer, food and atmosphere doesn't get much better (especialy on the patio). Their Oatmeal Stout is better than Guiness and the Pumpkin Porter is the best seasonal beer I've ever had (their Vanilla Stoli Stout is a close second)! more

love 4 peaks 3/26/2003

during grad school we spent many a night at 4 peaks and now every time I return to Tempe I have to visit and have a beer battered chicken sandwich. Definitely recommend 4 peaks. more

One of the Best in North America 1/17/2003

Of the 127 brewpubs I've been to in North America, this is among the top 5%. The atmosphere in an old warehouse, the beer, and the food (which I have not had much of) make this place special. If you're in Phoenix and like good beer check this place out. I also like Rio Salado, Ice Breakers, and Sonoran. Pros: Beer Selection, Beer Quality, Atmosphere Cons: Bad Pool Table, Parking at Times more
