Four Paws Pet Resort

Irresponsible and careless for a lot of money. This place was recommended by a relocation search service. On the surface it seemed like a good place. I chose them because of the referral and because I thought my senior cat would be well cared for. She was not. \r \r When I boarded her here (because her VET is here) I explained at drop off she needed a refill on a prescription the vet had prescribed - it was ""necessary for my cat's health"". The receptionist was too busy with her own dog to pay attention. Result? My cat did not get her daily required meds for two full days because they said ""I did not bring the medicine"" (?!). \r \r They did not call me to ask about the *missing* meds - they called my friend, who was the emergency contact and yelled at her. She called me and I immediately called them back - but there was no answer because it was now after hours. I called the THREE emergency back up numbers Four Paws provided. Two of the three did not even have anyone answering their phones and the third said they had no way of contacting Four Paws either. Really?\r \r I expected an apology when I picked her up. There wasn't one. I asked for a refund on the boarding charges as they failed to care for her properly. They refused and said it was my fault there was a miscommunication. \r \r This group is unprofessional and did cause harm to my cat. She was traumatized and lost more weight when the issue they are supposed to be treating is her low weight and thyroid. When they screwed up they blamed me - the client/customer - even though I was quite clear a drop off that she needed a refill on mediation. \r \r Find someplace else. These people are awful. more

I'm SO sorry I gave this place a second chance! I went there for vet services and grooming for my shepherd years ago. I now have a poodle and need a groomer only (have a new vet I LOVE) The place is DIRTY and the staff is disorganized. I've requested that I don't want my dog left there all day but they cannot meet this request. I dropped him off at 10am for grooming and call and call....at 4pm still not done? I was kept 25 minutes waiting just to drop off! Then they try to tell me I've never been there before? That they don't have his shot record? Never again! There are many groomers out there who need my business! STAY AWAY from Four Paws! They really don't have their act together at all! more

I brought my new 10 week old puppy for a check-up. Within the next 3 weeks they prescribed her 10 (YES, TEN) medications trying to solve the problem (along with OTC allergy pills and Robitussin) ...which ended up being brohnchitis after I paid over $700 in bills and prescriptions and my poor dog was still sick!!!! They gave my dog the same 3 prescriptions twice, and gave her 2 different de-wormers TWICE in an effort to cure diarrhea....which she probaly got from all the meds they put her through. I was disgusted and all I got was ridiculous excuses for all the treatments she was put through. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN...THEY JUST WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY and dont care about anything else. more
