Based on my experience with this company, they do not return calls, do not show up when they say they will, do poor quality work, make promises they do not keep and do not stand by their work. When confronted, the become belligerent and threatening. Once they get paid they're done with you. I've since spoken to many people who have a similar opinion of this company who in my opinion operate a shady business. Search the reviews and form your own opinion. Remember... there can be many motivations and sources for a good review... including the possibility of fake ones from the company itself... only dissatisfied customers post bad reviews. I absolutely love these guys, they are currently working at my house and seem to be doing a nice job. My fiance is an engineer and very picky, he even said that they are doing a nice job. I hired them to rebuild my south wall and redo the drain tile on the interior since I have a pool and driveway on the outside of my home that I didn't want touched. Once the wall was down and prepped I was told I didn't have a footer or that the footer was missing in a large section. Instead of adding extra onto the job they went ahead and fixed it for free. YES FOR FREE because it had to be done for the wall to be supported properly. I truly appreciated them doing that without hesitation especially because im on a tight budget and already had 12 months s.a.c. financing set up, and didn't want to add onto the loan. At this point they finished building my south wall late yesterday afternoon and looks awesome. They are still here working on waterproofing the rest of the basement. I just wanted to put this out there, to let people know that they are a terrific company, and yes if anything changes between now and the end of the job I will post it on here. We had our basement waterproofed about 4 months ago. Since the crews finished the job we only had to call one time for service, we needed more back fill which they said might happen depending on how much the back fill settled. They sent out two employees who added more back fill and leveled everything out. (they had explained to me that this might happen no big deal). Overall the work went smoothly and havn't had any leakage since they finished which i guess is the most important. Pros: Nice service and employees more

I was quoted a low price for repairing a garage floor installing an epoxy stone surface. They were months late in doing the work and the weather was by then getting cold and it may affected the proper curing of the epoxy. They placed a drain in the center of the garage which ended up being higher than most of the garage floor. The workers assured me that stone surface would be applied in such a way as to fix that problem. Well... it didn't. When I called to raise the concern, they demanded payment. When I told them that I would withhold payment until they fixed the problem, they threatened to put a lien on my home. They later apologized and offered to reduce the cost of the job and keep the warranty intact. Stupidly, I agreed and a month later when I first drove my car into the garage, the stones crumbled under the tires, revealing the cement below. I called 21 times over a 4 month period and not one call was returned. Each time I called, they assured me that they would send someone out to fix the problem. I calledthe floor guy, and he told me that because I complained to Better Business Bureau he would not come back to fix the job. They told me someone else would come in his stead. Now they say that the floor is not under warranty, despite the fact that the problem was with faulty installation. They claim that I waited too long to tell him and that the warranty is only applicable if I had an overcoating (first time I even heard of such a thing). In my opinion, the they only care about squeezing as much money out of you as they can. No honor or sense of fairness or right or wrong. Several times they told me that they didn't make any money on the job... even though their sales guy quoted the price and the owner offered the reduction because the floor diverts water away from the drain. With all the recent rains, our basement is still dry. Now that it has been two months and, we've had a decent amount of rain we are convinced everything is good to go. We have absolutely no complaints about this company everything went very well front start to finish. Pros: Working well more

These clowns still have not finished the work we contracted for. Took the money and then took forever. Terrible at responding to calls or emails. Customer service was horrible- ignored requests for days, left me without a washer for a week after they unhooked it, scheduled days that were inconvenient for me, were always late, wrote a quote for the wrong type of wall anchor. Waterproofed 50 feet of my home on the exterior. The work was finished on time and the clean up was good especially to my suprise because it was snowing at the time. Thank You to citysearch for providing hard working people with reviews such as these. I recently had a flood in my basement and was ready to call Foundation Home Services, LLC. A friend of mine who lives nearby also had the same problem due to the high amount of rains we received lately, and called Foundation Home Services. He said he's never seen a company so inept at doing repair work in his life. Also, when he questioned them on it, he repeatedly was hung up on and talked to very negatively. this is not the only message board with bad reviews on this company. Hired them to waterproof my basement a couple weeks ago and they just finished last week. I just wanted to thank them for the easy experience from start to finish, and for not giving me any kind of run around because i have delt with other contractors who were nightmares to deal with. But trust me you won't be dissapointed with them and the formen i had on the job Jay was extremely polite and informative.
