MISERABLE 8/5/2014

Went in for a Friends Rachel style haircut yesterday and Sharon, the only stylist there, told me that based on my personality, the hairstyle would not work for my thin hair. She she decided to give me a layered cut that took ALLLLLL of my past the shoulder length hair AWAY. She butchered my hair. I couldn't be more unhappy and I told her that. I showed her pictures of how I wanted it to look but she gave me a haircut that was NOTHING like what I asked for, and continued to cut after I told her I wanted it just above the shoulder. I don't know what kind of stylists this place hires but she didn't listen to the customer, and this customer is MISERABLE. It'll take months for it to grow out into something I'll like and I can't understand why this stylist thought she knew better than I did about my own hair and how I wanted to look. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER and I will NEVER GO BACK. Will warn all my friends/family away from this place. more

Best hair salon in town! Always give you what you want! They do hair, nails, makeup, tanning, massage, and eyebrows! Best experience you'll ever have at this salon :) Very experienced hair stylists! They have been in business for forty years & it shows through their amazing work!! more

Known Secret for Men in Garden City 1/12/2013

I met George while looking for and replacing my previous barber. Great detail work and best of both continents with a good diverse mix of customers to put any man at ease. Also, there is the salon next door. I truly believe in communicating to them how you can make your next experience even better and that it will be well received in return. George has done volunteer work for Veterans in his effort to give back. All around a class act worth a look and visit. more

Hi, my. And is Kyle and I've been going to Fouad's for 7 years. George the barber is the best at what he does in the metro Detroit area hands down. My fiancé Nicole also loves this place as well, the women do her hair and nails to perfection. She will not go anywhere else. Give it a shot of you've never been, I guarantee you'll be back. more

Im 26 and have been going here for 25 years..georges dad used to cut my hair...have never had another barber and will not goto another barber...besides where else can u go for an old fashioned straight razor shave? more

supurb hair styling experience 12/2/2011

I am 32 and started seeing George when I was 15. 17 Years later I am still convinced it is the best place around for a hair cut! I have gone to other "Bargain" shops and only walked away disappointed. George has many customers and after the first time seeing him, every time you get in the chair he already knows how you want it cut. That's professionalism if you ask me. They have a full service salon for the ladies, hair specials for teen dances, and even tanning! I think one try and you'll be hooked just like me. more

Fouad's Styling Salon 11/10/2010

I have been going to Fouad's in Garden City for about 5 years now. I go to THE BEST stylist ever (Kathy of course) and the rest of the stylist's (George, Mimi and Sharon) are always so warm and friendly. I recommend that anyone in need of a style change or if you are just keeping it up go to Fouad's in Garden City!!! You will be glad you did! more

I have been a client of Fouad's for 5 years now. Kathy is the best hair stylist I know and the rest of the of the stylists (George, Sharon and Mimi) are always so friendly. I understand that times can be hard for all of us at times however; I recommend that anytime a hair style is needed this be the absolute ONLY place you go! It is for me. more

All I have to say!!! I am incredibly pleased with my haircut, color and style. I have gone to several different hair salons, but with no luck finding an individual who would cut/color the way I want, or even close for that matter. I was so impressed with the way Kathy had cut my friends hair (the color is beautiful too) that I made the appointment as soon as she gave me the number and have been going to her ever since. That was over 4 years ago. I recently went in to have my hair done and in true Kathy fashion she created a masterpiece. I truly wake up everyday looking forward to the way I will be styling my hair. Kathy always takes the time to help me find the perfect colors. When I am in her chair I feel like a rock star and I cannot thank her ENOUGH for her fabulous sense of style, WHAT A TALENT!!! I found my permanent hair dresser, and I am so excited and relieved! Thankyou Kathy, keep up the magic girl. You do amazing work! more

Fouad's Styling Station isnt just a Barber shop/Salon it is a place to relax and get away from everything. I've been going to see George (my barber) for about 8-9 years, faithfully once a week! I can be broke and i would still go get my hair cut! I love coming here, my haircut's have always been precise, the people are friendly, and most importantly the employees are amazing! They take care of you in every way! I use many services other than haircut, i go tanning, get my eye brows fixed up, and i also get to hang out and chat with so many great people in the process! My family also comes to this salon, my girlfriend, and hundred's of my friends come to see George and Nick for haircuts!!
