True Southern didnig at it's finest 8/21/2011

Today after much prodding from my mother we went to The Foster House for their Sunday buffet. $12.95 for all you can eat Fried chicken, creamed corn, FRESH fried okra and several other sides. The food was superb, like going to Grandma's on Sunday. The creamed corn and fried okra was the best I have ever eaten! The service was great and the place was very clean.After vising their beautiful back yard my husband and I are talking about renewing our vows here and letting them cater. As a true Georgia Peach I'm always on the search for some good southern cooking and I found it! My new favorite place. And you must try the red velvet cake, all I can say is OMG!!!! more

Going down hill.... 9/13/2010

The first few times i had dinner at Foster's was very good, but that was 3 yr's ago. The quality is gone , and so is the care. I was forgotten and seated by the bathroom door in a hall at a created spot on the moment. The door would hit us and the bathroom smells kill your hunger. We felt abused and forgotten. The food was not the same quality. I will not be returning. more
