Fortress Fencing

Fortress Fencing installed a fence around my property, as well as an automatic gate. The friendly crew came out and installed the fence in a timely manner. We needed it installed quickly so that we could get moved into the home. We have small children and a dog that needed containment. Fortress did the job well, cleaned up behind themselves, and made the whole process an easy procedure. Jason was friendly and knowledgeable. We could tell that he had lots of experience in this field and a true passion for his company. more

I spoke with Jason of Fortress Fencing a few times to solidify an appointment for an estimate for a backyard fence. Last Friday, 7/9/10, we had an appointment at 3:30pm. I left work early, was there at exactly 3:30pm - wait and waited. At 4pm, I called him and left a message asking if he was still coming, and to please call me back and let me know. He never called back - it is now Wednesday of the following week and I still have not heard a word. It was a complete waste of time, but at least I know never to use this company. If a person who owns their own business can't bother to show up or respond to a potential paying customer...that is definitely a RED flag. I thought I would let everyone know. I highly recommend this fence company. We got quotes from 4 different companies. Fortress Fencing was competitive. They were not the cheapest, but the other companies who said they could do it cheaper were also going to build a lower quality fence (only cementing corner posts and NO warranties or guarantees on work or materials). Fortress built us a fabulous fence that will last a long time (cemented in every post). We have a very large yard, but they did the whole fence in less than two days. Every employee I spoke with was friendly and very professional. We have gotten a lot of complements from neighbors on our fence. more

These guys give what sounds to be a reasonable estimate (in line with the others I recieved), do the work within a few days, but the quality of their fences have much to be desired. They put in our fence two years ago, many of the boards started to warp then the fence started to fall apart in several sections; all shortly after a year. They damaged a couple things on our property (one by backing in to it) and claimed they didn't do it; that it was already like that. Save yourself a headache and don't have these jokers put in your fence! Pros: Reasonable price Cons: Poor workmanship more
