My 16 yr old has been taking voice and piano off and on for about 4 years but was never very enthusiastic about going to lessons and her progress was barely noticable. Working with Eric at Forte has 'lit her fire' and her singing voice has grown so much. He communicates in a fun and easy manner that keeps her looking forward to the next lesson. She is very happy with her results. more

A wonderful school! 3/8/2006

My daughter enjoys learning to play the piano, because of the encouragement and guidance of the school staff. The school strives to incorporate fun in learning, which motivates my child to practice at home and to look forward to the next class! The instructors consider the different learning styles of each student to maximize the potential of each one. Truly a wonderful school! more

Great options 4/5/2005

We were very interested in getting both of the kids into lessons and Forte has so many different options that we were able to get them both into piano lessons. My son is really excited about playing guitar and it's going to be great that we don't have to switch schools when he's ready (a little older) to take guitar lessons. more

WOW What a School!!! 4/3/2005

I know a LOT of families that are enrolled at FORTE Music school and it is great! The teachers are fun and know what they are teaching. It is an excellent rescource for all ages and levels of students! You should definately go check this school out because your students will get to work on recording their own music...how cool is that!!!! Pros: available whole fam., violin,piano,voice, and guitar! more

A fantastic music school 4/2/2005

I am a local English teacher in the Beaverton district and multiple of my students enrolled this fall at Forte Music School. The Forte approach to ""literacy"" within music amazed me when I first learned of it (reading, writing and speaking/improvising); now I witness its powerful effects firsthand. One of my thirteen-year-old male students struggles in his reading and writing in the academic classroom. However, at Forte, he finds great success in this other, different type of literacy. At Forte, the teachers are not only highly qualified musicians, but are also passionate about kids. I love this new approach to teaching music! more
