Fort Caroline Animal Clinic

Our family is tremendously grateful for Dr. Athey, Dr. Lincoln and the entire team at Fort Caroline Animal Clinic. These doctors and their staff are outstanding. Dr. Athey has worked wonders with our precious dog ToTo as she has suffered with a terrible skin problem for some time. Dr. Athey immediatly brought ToTo relief at our office visit with the medications and help that we so needed for her. Within the last two weeks in her treatment we have seen nothing short of a miracle for ToTo through Dr. Athey's tremendous knowledge and care. Dr. Athey has brought her back to a happy, comfortable dog that has not itched or scratched and her skin is healing rapidly. We are so very thankful to Dr. Athey for his outstanding care.\r We would also like to thank Dr. Athey and Dr. Lincoln and their entire team for their tremendous care of our sweet dog CoCo. These doctors are the finest and most knowledgable in Jacksonville. The care that they gave CoCo was above and beyond. They were right there for CoCo and our family throughout this difficult time. Dr. Athey and Dr. Lincoln understood completly what CoCo and we were going through and did everything possible for CoCo to help her through her pain. Their medical knowledge is outstanding as well as their people knowledge. Dr. Lincoln helped make CoCo's last hour one that we will forever cherish as our family held her and loved her and were able to be with her. Dr. Lincoln understood completly and her hugs are so appreciated by our family. Dr. Lincoln's words of comfort are words that I will always keep close in my heart.We would like to thank with all of our hearts Dr. Athey , Dr. Lincoln and their staff for their outstanding care, understanding, support and hugs throughout our difficult time. i wouldn't trust my rabbits to anyone but Dr. Lincoln. Most caring vet in jax, that specializes in small animals. i will ALWAYS go to her :) She knows my bunnies names and remembers them when we come in, this means alot to me- like a doctor remembering a patient. This clinic has always been more than willing to be as helpful as possible. The staff is very caring and can answer questions both quickly and correctly. Dr. Athey and Dr. Lincoln are both fantastic vets who make you feel like you and your pet are their top priority. Great vet! more

I have been a client at this clinic for 26 years. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Everytime I call for an appointment, they do their best to get me in as quickly as possible. Both Dr. Lincoln and Dr. Athey have always taken excellent care of my dogs and I love seeing their dogs hanging around the office each time I go in.\r I appreciate that their prices are reasonable and they always listen to my concerns regarding my pets. I have been dealing with Drs. Charlie and Denise at FCAC since 1982. I love this vet clinic. The staff is totally professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They also remember every client - human, canine and feline. more

This clinic was cheap, but very unprofessional! I took my dog in to board for 3 days, came back to find his eye was almost poked out by them using a lead to get him out of the kennel. To top it off the admin. assistant was supposed to put a label on the meds the Dr. GAVE me and instead charged me for them, when I brought it to her attention she said, "Mamm we cant help it if your dog hits himself in the eye", I was furious. Oh, and the fact they said he was very bad and sent us home with his urine filled bedding was a kicker too!! The Dr was great he just needs some new help. more

I have always been so pleased with the time this vet takes with my animals and I. I never wait very long, and they're always good about helping out in an emergency (i.e. when I haven't made an appointment but my animals are super sick). We have used this vet since 1999 and have actually made them a family vet- my parents, my brothers, and my own family all use this vet. I think that speaks volumes for quality. They're honest and caring individuals who really know their stuff! They make the drive across town since we moved worth while for the care they give to my pets. more

I wouldn't take my dog to any other Vet, but Fort Caroline. Dr Lincoln & Athey are the best Vets I have ever taking my pets to. My dog was very sick and on the verge of death. She had to stay at there hospital for over a week. The doctors and staff treated her so well, and kept me updated on her condition. All I have to say in words, is that these doctors are the most kind hearted, and knowledgeable Veterinarians in town. more

I have been taking my 2 cats and new puppy to this clinic for the pst year. The staff and two Doctors are so loving of my animals and treat them as if they were there own. The other day I called with some questions about my new puppy, there new technician a young man was very professional and helpful in the way he helped me with my questions. I couldn't have asked for better! I wouldn't trust any other clinic but Fort Caroline Animal Clinic!! more

I just moved to the Ft Caroline area from Miami and have 4 cats, one of whom is elderly. We had a mini-emergency, important but not life-threatening, at 4:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. They told me I could come right in, saw us in 5 minutes, and immediately found a long-standing ear infection that another (very expensive mobile) vet had missed only two weeks before, even with a battery of tests. \r \r Dr. Athey and his staff were so caring with my cat, and very customer-service oriented. They definitely make an effort to win your business. They don't treat you like you're lucky to be there, they treat you like THEY are lucky you're there. I've had many veterinarians for various pets in various cities, but have never been so impressed as I was at Ft Caroline Animal Clinic. \r \r I would highly recommend them to anybody within driving distance who wants a vet that loves his patients like they're his own. more

I was very lucky when I moved to this area to have such a great Animal Clinic within a mile of my home. I have 4 cats ranging from 16 years old to 9 weeks old and all get excellent care at this facility. Many times I have called about a problem with one of my pets and they take me in within an hour or two. I highly recommend this Animal Clinic to anyone in the area. more
