Formally Modern Tuxedo

I'll admit that I'm not the biggest fan of trying on any sort of clothing. It bores me. That is, until I went to Formally Modern Tuxedo. My fiancee' had a tux in mind already, Formally Modern had one that she liked, I tried it on, and then sat on the couch and watched the Cubs game (large plasma tv) while my fiancee' went over a few other details with the salesperson . Had I known, I could have brought my laptop in as well since they offer wifi. The tux looks great, the staff was awesome, and the whole experience couldn't have gone better. As "cherfer" mentioned in her posting, the price could have been slightly cheaper elsewhere but you definitely don't break your wedding parties bank getting a VERY nice looking tux. Thank you Formally Modern Tuxedo! Pros: Attentive Staff, Plasma TV, Wifi, Great Selection, Very Nice Tuxes, etc. You can't beat Formally Modern if you're from Chicago or have a wedding planned here! Cons: Parking can be hectic because it's in a crowded shopping center. more

We had already been to After Hours and Men's Wearhouse to find a tux for our wedding. We were disgusted with their impersonal service and poor quality, non-fashionable tuxedos. The sales person at After Hours threw a size 40 jacket on my fiance without measuring him, and when I said it looked too large, she said, "well you can't expect a custom fit from a rental." But he is 3 jacket sizes smaller than that and it looked absurd. A coworker recommended Formally Modern, and I am very glad we went. We stopped in 20 minutes before closing time, but the sales clerk was still more than happy to help us. He took proper measurements, showed us what we asked for, and we had exactly what we envisioned within 15 minutes. The selection was great, I was almost afraid we wouldn't be able to afford the rental because the tuxes looked so expensive and we're on a tight budget. But, it was very affordable, we got everything we needed, and we were glad to put the task behind us quickly. I highly recommend this store. Pros: Great selection of tuxes, great customer service, affordable prices (not the cheapest, but quality is much better) Cons: No locations outside Chicago, but they're letting us take the tux to Vegas with us more
