When I first walked in to Dr. Sheylan's office I expected a visit like ever other dental appointment that caused me anxiety. Thus, I hadn't been for a cleaning in over two years and knew I needed some major work! Everyone at the office greeted me warmly, informative at every step, and reassured ""dental anxiety"" was not only common in patients, but a specialty of Dr. Shelyan's. Dr. Shelyan took the time to get to know me and my dental history and I immediately felt more at ease with him than any other dentist.\r \r After finishing a tear filled root canal, Dr. Sheylan suggested ""Oral Concious Sedation""- a dental therapy that he is highly trained in. At first I was weary, but after the dentist explained the details I was able to get over three appointments worth of work done in just one appointment! I left his office with absolutely no pain after some major restoration. \r \r They also helped me to work out an affordable payment plan with no interest, so I didn't have to wait until cavities worsened! \r \r I cannot thank this lovely, professioal, and extraordinary dentist and staff! I'd never think to see another dentist again and highly recommend to those with dentist fears! more

Dr. Shelyan is an amazing dentist. His office is wonderful and everyone is so sweet and friendly! I had been hesitant to visit a dentist because I no longer have dental insurance but they totally worked out a payment plan for me. Just today, I went in for my wisdom teeth removal and it was done in 12 minutes! I'm in absolutely no pain right now (my procedure was done 5 hours ago), I think that required some major skills :) Before I went in I was super nervous about my procedure, but Dr. Shelyan definitely knew how to calm me down and make me laugh. It's definitely the best (and least painful) dentist experience I have ever had! Highly Recommended!! more

Dr Shelyan is the best dentist ever! I came in to see him for a routine teeth cleaning and it turns out I have some cavities. I told him that I was afraid of needles and he said that I could do a conscious oral sedation which allowed me to get my teeth fixed without seeing any needles. more

I had a few teeth that needed serious work done. i am so glad i let dr. shelyan work on them. not only my headaches and sensitivity are gone, my old ugly silver fillings are gone and i have three beautiful new teeth. dr. shelyan is very honest and will tell it to your straight. i will be visiting him soon for some teeth whitening in the future as well. more

I have had many dentists in my lifetime, but the best by far is Dr. Shelyan. I live in the valley and drive down to the city, and it is so worth it. Dr. Shelyan cares about his patients, and strives to make sure they are happy. I am so happy that I switched dentists. Whenever I would leave my previous dentists office, my mouth and teeth would hurt for days, whenever I leave Dr. Shelyan’s office my teeth and mouth never hurt. I feel like I get a new set of teeth every time I leave the office, because they are always looking so amazing. I would recommend going to Dr. Shelyan for all of your dental work. He recommends the greatest services and never forces you to do choose a service you will not be happy with. Prices are reasonable, and the service is an A +. Not only is Dr. Shelyan wonderful but his staff is wonderful too. They are always there to greet you and always work with a smile. If I ever have a question, they are always there to answer it. I would say this office deserves 10 stars not 5. Keep up the great work Dr. Shelyan and staff. Highly Highly recommended. more

Like most people, finding the time for a dental appointment, paying for the services AND on top of all, fear of getting my dental work were preventing me from seeing a dentist. As a matter of fact, I had not seen one in 14 years!!! Yep, 14 long years. Finally, after I got referred to Dr. Shelayn's office by a good friend, I made the call to his office. I was so suprised to see how flexible they were in accomodating my crazy schedule. Then after I went in for my visit, I found out that I needed so much work (not that I was surprised, can you imagine how much is 14 years worth of work???). Not to mention sooo much money. But, the doctor AND his staff were soo nice and worked with me in MORE THAN ONE WAY to make it affordable for my pocket to get all that work done. Now, let's get right down to the real part!! the anxiety and the fear of sitting on that chair and getting all that work done... Well, Dr. Shelyan offered me what is called an Oral Concious Sedation (don't check my spelling) and I had heard from others that it is the way to go, so I took it and boy!! oh boy!! Not that sitting on that chair with your mouth open can be pleasing, BUT, the experience was as relaxing and as comfortable as a dental experience can be (no joke). If you are anythine like me, don't have time, low budget and fearful of dentist, this is the place you want to go and Dr. Shelyan is who you want to see. You will be forever grateful!! more

DR. Shelyan is a very good doctor, he makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk threw the door. He welcomes every one with a nice welcoming smile. he takes very good care of you makes you feel like your apart of his family. He works with your schedule, hes very flexible and he's there for me 24hrs... He makes you feel so comfortable you'll forget your at a dental office...... more
