Foothills has some great food. They do different flavors of creme brulee weekly. Last week I had coconut (it was so yummy, I'd throw a left hook at the Pope to get another dish of it), and this week it's bourbon vanilla (tasty enough to at least elbow a nun in the forehead). The brulee is always done perfectly with the sugar crunchy but not burnt. I'm also quite fond of their "spin the wheel" pizzas..you pick what cheese you want, and have them top it with whatever strikes your fancy. I'm addicted to the roasted garlic and basalmic onion (with mozzarella, of course). Their suggested pizzas are great, too, like the white pizza. The she-crab soup is very palatable, and their sour cherry/arugula/pear/candied pecan/bleu cheese salad slides very easily down the 'ol esophagus. I'm not usually a bleu cheese girl, but it compliments the other ingredients well. They make their own ketchup and pickles, too. You can't go wrong with an appetizer (although I wasn't too impressed with the bacon wrapped shrimp). Sometimes due to the acoustics it can get a bit noisy, and one or two of the waiters are slow and don't pay attention, but all in all I'm a fan. I'm not a drinker, but the beer, I've heard, is very good. You can get a "growler" to go any time. I like the downtown location and the staff is friendly. Limited menu at night, but a great place to grab a beer and a bite after hours. For sports fans, there are a couple of nice flat screen tvs at the bar.
Pros: food, beer, operating hours
Cons: can get noisy due to acoustics
